#AColorStory: California | Desktop Now Available!!

Happy Friday, friends! We’re VERY excited to try something new with our first Desktop-only set, California! So you can’t get anything like this in the app, as it’s created only for Photoshop or Lightroom. This means we were able to include certain coloring techniques that aren’t possible on mobile, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.

California | Desktop was made by the super talented San Diego photographer, Arielle Vey, and let me tell you guys, it does not disappoint! Every preset is so different from the other, shifting hues and texturing shadows in your photo to create a completely new look. We can’t get over any of them!

See some of them in action below:

Before and after edited with 72 and Sunny in California | Desktop

Edited with 101 in California | Desktop

These presets could not have come at a better time with summer approaching. Since they each give off a darker and more contrasted look to the photo, it makes it perfect for the bright, summer days!

The California set includes 33 actions or presets and is now available in the shop! We’re so excited to try something new and hope you love how it turned out just as much as we do. If you post any on Instagram, use #AColorStoryCalifornia so we can see your edits!

  • Really digging this desktop only set!

I have a question. I have both Lightroom and photoshop and was wondering if there is a “better” one to choose, or what the differences would be, between PS or LR. Pros and Cons?

  • It’s so Beautiful! I want that presents pls and keep me inform pls.

  • These are actually really pretty, I’m really considering getting a photoshop package.
I need to sit down and go through what buying these sets entails. I will check thoroughly when I get home
