With Halloween so close at hand, it’s no surprise that we have candy on the brain. And since the love of candy is not just for kids, it’s also fun to have a sweet treat that’s just for your adult self as well. So while the little ones go door to door filling their bags with candy, have a seat and fill your glass with this Almond Joy martini instead!
Almond Joy Martini, serves one.
For drink:
2 oz vodka
2 oz creme de cacao
1 oz cream of coconut
splash of cream
For garnish:
shredded coconut
honey
chocolate sauce
Add some ice to a shaker, and pour in your vodka, creme de cacao, cream of coconut and cream. Shake hard for 10 seconds to combine.
Dip the rim of your glass onto a plate with honey drizzled on it, and then dip the rim into some shredded coconut. Take your chocolate sauce and add a few swirls to the inside of your glass.
Slowly pour in your chilled martini and enjoy!
Chocolate and coconut is always a winning combination in my book, so feel free to add more of less of whichever ingredient is your particular fave. I love novelty cocktails (you can see all our creations here!), and I think I’ll be a repeat customer of this one for sure. Who says candy bars are just for eating? Try drinking one for a change! xo. That looks heavenly, but is probably the sweetest cocktail I have ever seen! And I definitely want to try it!

Shouldn’t the coconut be more prevalent than the chocolate if we’re going for Almond-Joyish? I think a splash of amaretto would be great too! Definitely trying it.
Yup, same here!!!
This reminds me of a more grown up version of the time a guy brought coconut rum and hershey’s chocolate sauce to my halloween party and encouraged people to take a shot of the rum with a squirt of the chocolate sauce. So gross to think about, but surprisingly good. I think now that I’m in my 30s I’ll stick to the martini version 😉
Haha! That sounds SO GROSS.
(this recipe is really yummy- I tried it)

Love coconut! Loooovvvee chocolate. But for some reason, when the two unite it just doesn’t work for me. Nonetheless, this is a great recipe to know and make for friends!
