We are excited to announce the dates of the Red Velvet estate sale! If you are nearby please come down October 9-12th from 8-3pm each day to score some cheap vintage! 🙂 Our shop is located at: 211 East Commercial Street in Springfield, MO 65803.For all you long time readers you might remember when we had the Red Velvet grand opening back in October 2010. Starting the Red Velvet local shop is the main reason Elsie and I started working together. Other than just working and growing closer (as sisters, friends and business partners) we also have lots of special memories from this little shop. This is where we started our independent dress line (they were all sewn and shipped from this shop). Elsie and Jeremy got married on the third floor of this building. We met lots of readers, made new friends, learned a lot about business and really enjoyed retail. But over the last few years our passion has shifted toward our blog and content creation. So we made some tough business decisions and decided that for now we are shifting our business away from local retail, but we're leaving the door open to keep dreaming. You never know what the future will hold. In the meantime we have a huge shop filled with SO much vintage merchandise. What to do? So we are hosting a BIG sale next month. We are lucky to be hosting the event with Karen, who owns Funtiques (another local vintage shop).
