I've been experimenting with fall and winter flavors in my salads lately. This salad is a bed of mixed greens and herbs with avocado, tomato, curry + fig dressing, and roasted carrots and pumpkin seeds. So yummy! Have you been roasting pumpkin seeds at your house? I like to bake mine with just a little Lawry's seasoned salt and butter. This salad is a bed of mixed greens and avocado topped with baked brussels sprouts leaves, baked apples and blue cheese dressing. We loved the mix of flavors in this one! xoxo. Elsie

Both salads look really delicious! My favorite salad for fall/winter is aragula with beetroot, apples and caramelized walnuts.

PS was the fig and curry dressing homemade or bought? If homemade any chance of a recipe in a future post? My Grandmother loves anything fig and think she would enjoy this at our Christmas BBQ!
I love salads, but Autumn just seems so chilly to be having salads… perhaps a warm salad for this season? :]
