ok. so i am moving to a loft next week…. i don't have any photos to share yet, but it's sort of the classic loft with some brick walls and high ceilings and stuff… i was trying to shop online for a few cute new home items and i have to admit….. i don't love shopping online… i was hoping some of you might have some insight to share…. i am just looking for random stuff like a really cute shower curtain, rugs, frames, wall decor, paper lamps (need some more for my studio)… and also i am looking for a white or silver old school style christmas tree that is 7 ft. or taller…. thank you in advance for any links… i really appreciate it!

ummm… If you are looking for a vintage tree, I was going to put my Mom’s silver ones on eBay for her this weekend. If you are interested, e-mail me, OK. She actually has 2 for sale. One is 5 ft. and one is 7 ft. (i think those are the correct sizes, LOL)

Hey Elsie….Just wanted to let you know to try looking at Wal Mart or Hobby Lobby for a tree. I know Hobby Lobby has a white tree but I’m not sure about silver. I saw a silver tinsel tree at Target last night but its not 7′. Hope that helps some. I’m on the hunt for a fluffy pink tree..lol

I can not wait until I get my own house/my own dorm. I have already planned my wall of my dorm will be full of vintage records and black and white photos. Loving your new loft! The tinsel trees are back in style, I saw an add from JCpenny that had a variety of sizes and the prices look reasonable. I love shopping at Cost Plus and Pier 1 online for fun house stuff.
Ok elsie- did not read many of the comments for xmas trees for you- but have to tell you that BIG LOTS had a 6′ pink lit xmas tree for ONLY $30! I was going to buy one for each of my girls- they are twins and turning 4 in a few weeks- thought of having them for each of their rooms- but didn’t yet! so cute!
