Summer is finally winding down. And while it's a sad goodbye to summer dresses and open-toed shoes, we're extra excited for fall this year! Here's what we've been up to this month! We were so excited to announce this month that our new photo idea book is finally for sale! A giant thank you to everyone that has bought the book so far, we hope you love it as much as we do!We also got a closer look at Emma's amazing wedding reception and her gorgeous DIY wedding dress. Doesn't she look beautiful? This August, Emma made our mouth water with her garlic butter pizza crust and pavlova with blueberry jam dessert. We also learned to make our own homemade gummy candy and Elsie shared her favorite smoothie combinations– YUM!We had a blast making some really fun DIY projects this month: our giant jenga set and pet photo wall clocks were two of our favorites! We also showed how you can make your own rug in any shape (we chose a doxie rug, of course!).Austin was the destination of the month for Texas Style Council, and you can see the videos from our trip here, here, and here.We also had the privilage of peeking inside some more incredible homes (like Anna Dorfman, Sarah Sherman, and Viviana Agostinho's lovely spaces). We love seeing how other people style their homes, don't you?
We've had so much fun this month looking for a new studio space in town and we shared our wardrobe summer favorites (we are suckers for pretty embroidery).
And finally, Katie showed us how to style a braided chignon– so pretty! Can't wait to kick off September! xoxo. E + E

Love your blog – I am quite a bit older than you but find your style and lifestyle so fabulous.
I notice you travel quite a bit – have you been to Santa Fe – I am going for the first time in Sept and just thought if you had been – and have some must see spots – I would love to hear. You seem to frequent the coolest restuarants, etc.
Thank you – Judy
