We can't believe September is coming to an end! It's time to bring out the scarves, boots, & hot chocolate. We had such a fun, busy month! Here's some of our favorite posts we made along the way.
We made this yummy aztec hot cocoa and an equally delicious askinosie malt shake. We also went a little head over heels for all things pumpkin. You can find all six pumpkin recipes here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Also, don't miss Emma's favorite apple pie recipe ever.
Rachel made this adorable teepee and also showed us how she gave her bicycle a makeover! Some of our other favorite projects this month include this pretty journal, this autumn wreath, beeswax candles, and this apple plush.
We had so much fun learning to carve custom stamps with this journal project.
We had the wonderful opportunity to make a little trip to California this month for a special sister style with Ruche! It was so much fun! You can find even more behind the scenes photos here.
Elsie shared her 4 Simple Goals and we are excited that hundreds of you are playing along too! We will be sharing some of our reader favorites very soon.
This month has been extra exciting because we're launching a collection with Modcloth! So far we've shared three ways to wear it for the ever crafter dress, punctuation rock top and spot of tea skirt. I also shared the sketches I made to create the collection and a few behind the scenes photos of our video shoot!
Over on our everyday blogs Elsie shared snapshots from her closing day, her moving day and home renovating process. Emma shared a special goal completed and a a restyled coffee table chest.
September was a great month full of change and projects. We are really excited about October! Check back tomorrow for some sneak peeks of projects we are working on for the coming month. xoxo. elsie + emma

Your house stamp project was the inspiration for a mural I painted for a local festival! I got all the children from the community to stamp a little house on the mural that will be displayed outside their school! Thanks, Beautiful Mess for the inspiration!

Hey girls! I love getting ideas from your site! As a stay-at-home mom of two under two (EEP!), I am always making something out of scraps that I would normally throw away, sewing, or baking and cooking in general. Today’s agenda: Turn my family’s favortie Nutmeg Oatmeal Raisin cookies into Pumpkin Oatmeal raisin cookies, cranberry applesauce muffins with homemade pumpkin butter, and roasted pumpkin seeds!!!
you girls are so so lovely!
I just adore your blog!!
My favourite is still the teepee project. Also I still have to try the aztec hot chocolate, but with the temperature steadily dropping I don’t think that will be a problem π
Just wanted to comment on the make it yourself book set, I have the set as well! Nice.
Awe:( I must have missed the quesadillas. Bummer! Oh well, I guess I will just have to back track. Looks delicious Emma:)
