BIG news for Red Velvet Art!

Hi there, I am so excited to share some big news in the life of RVA with you today! So much has been happening behind-the-scenes over the past few months. We have made some huge decisions to grow and move Red Velvet in the right direction.

First of all, I'm moving… and yes, the Red Velvet studio & store are moving soon too. The local store will be closing for relocation (our last day will be May 10th). I'll be in Austin for Renegade the following weekend, May 15-16th. I'll be participating in a completely adorable local craft show the first Friday in June at the Moxie and I'll also be attending the San Fransisco and Chicago Renegades this Summer and Autumn for Red Velvet!

My summer focus will be online (I am finally going to give the RVA website my undivided attention for a few months! YAY!). I could not be more excited.

In September we will welcome a new full-time employee at RVA. I've been wanting and needing a personal assistant and manager for the past few years and this HUGE dream is finally a reality. She was my absolute first choice for this position. I know you'll be so excited to hear who the newest member of the RVA family is…

Leigh-annIt's Leigh-Ann!!! Not only is she one of the most business savvy people I've ever met, but her passion for what we do at Red Velvet inspires me constantly. She has believed in what we do from day one. I am honored, incredibly excited and overjoyed to welcome her to Missouri this year. She will be moving here to take the position and together we will be pursuing new goals for RVA full force! I can't wait.
In the coming months I will announce plans for the future RVA boutique and other exciting developments in RVA land. Life is definitely changing quick, and it's all for the best! Red Velvet is a dream that continues to grow and develop and I just want to thank you for your support and love. I love you too. Elsie

ps. i have butterflies!
