Friday! Friday! Friday! Well, friends, summer has come to Missouri. Summer, that lovely time of year where we begin dreaming of warm blankets, wooly socks, hot chocolate, raking leaves… Oh, just us? We've started planning our projects for fall behind the scenes. Crazy!
We're also in the process of transitioning here at the studio to move our offices upstairs, as we've outgrown our spaces downstairs! Choosing paint colors is kind of hard, y'all. Which would you pick between these four colors for a door?
We actually do make very real messes here that don't always get cleaned up or organized nicely! We're real people, guys. Sometimes you just have to leave things in a pile and move on to the next thing. Right?
Hope you all have a great weekend! Any big plans?

Even your messes look amazing, haha. I’d go with the orange for a door! I like the depth of the color.

I love these casual Friday’s, its always so interesting to see what you’re up to :). And I think that green colour for the door is definitely the best, or maybe the yellow.
THOSE SLOTH T-SHIRTS!!! Eeeeeeeeeeek!!!! Not “Kristen-Bell-worth-freaking-out” but still. . . So cute!
I hope you have a beautiful day!

I would pick teal for the door just because I love and shade of blue/green. Also, those pineapple glasses are hilarious!
I’m loving the hints of plants & greenery everywhere. It’s nice to have some life in the office. :] // http://www.itscarmen.com βΌ

Hi Les,
Mostly because we’ve already spent too much on this house and we want to recoup our investment when we move. π NO more contractor projects allowed. Haha! π

Is the painting/print that Elsie is holding one of hers? It is quite lovely.
Very nice! I love the tattoos!
I just love Casual Friday! Well, to be honest, I’m kinda obsessed with ABM in general (Elsie and Emma are totally my girl crushes at the moment). It’s always inspiring to see what you’re up to. I was browsing the archives one day and kept thinking about how much you’ve grown over the years. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hooray!! It’s Friday! Those sloth tee shirts are so cute!
I’d paint the door either blue or magenta!
I love that magenta chip! I’ve definitely never seen a door that color. Beautiful!
Thanks so much! It’s not mine, I bought it here- https://www.etsy.com/shop/LolaDonoghue

This is a really beautiful mess!
Looks like some fun stuff happening over there! I love that orangey-reddish color for the door.
Where did you get that incredible plant potter by the stairs!? I’m head over heels for it.
Love the yellow or orange, they would definitely set the mod for creativity.
You are a bunch of hardworkers!
Turquoise for the door! I love that color so much. Also, in the crafting/DIY world, messes are meant to be made, right? π
P.S. Hope we get to see what Katie is doing with Emma’s hair!
This is such a fun series…love Laura’s hairstyle and pants.. looking forward to katie’s hair tutorial…

I would love a chance to craft and hang with you all, you seem so much fun!
I’m obsessed with your BonLook glasses! these photos are stunning, and I love all the artwork in these photos π
First as the gingham ginger I have to know where you got those gingham pants. They are super adorbs!!! As for the door I am really obsessed with mint right now so I have to pick the mintish one.
I really love the girl with the clear glasses glasses they are really cool. If she wouldn’t mine sharing where she got them that would be great.

The outdoor space looks great. Dinner party soon?
This is the first weekend I don’t have much to do and I’m pretty excited about that!

Oh, thank goodness! I thought I was the only one dreaming of fall…in June. Pumpkin lattes, soups, and sweater weather. Maybe it has something to do with living in southern Illinois and that awful humidity!
I’d love for you guys to do a post about exercise and working out. Maybe some tips on ways you all stay in shape. Love the blog and the book!
I love the orange color!! It’s crazy you are already planning for fall. It will be here before we know it!! Love these posts. One of my favs π
A two-tone door would be lovely and would match your flamboyant (as in: expressive) characters! Maybe some playing with geometry?

Yellow for the door! Yellow defined says, “the color psychology of yellow is uplifting and illuminating, offering hope, happiness, cheerfulness and fun.”
Now what could be better than that? π
Love the turquoise/teal! Will be fun to see the new space. π Where did you find those adorable watermelon shoes?
Hi! I’m pretty sure someone has asked this before, but that beautiful big black calendar in your office space… where can I get one of those?
haha those SLOTH t-shirts are the BEST! I love your pics… everything is so cute!

I’m totally digging the plants everywhere!!
Aw! ABM, love, Love, LOVE how you always, always use plants!!! Your space is perfect!
I love all the ‘favorite things’ posts! Especially the ones that include casual Fridays. They are so much fun to read about and to be able to see what happens ‘behind the scene.’
I have a question about your latest e-course on Blog Design Love 2.0; It keeps on saying wordpress.com, but will it work for wordpress.org? It seems like the chapters included would be for something within wordpress.org vice wordpress.com.
I’m asking because I’m interested in the course, but I am a wordpress.org user haha. Thank you in advance!!

Hi! Most of the lessons are taught through wordpress.com, so you may not benefit from the ones that aren’t. -Jacki
I love it. Makes me wanna come over. ;)Definitely better than writing my master thesis these days.
And yet another great Casual Fridays post! I always love how bright every photo is!
Go with the Raspberry-magenta color! Its an amazing pop of color and so rich! Not to mention the beautiful contrast when you add all those lovely plants that I know you will!
So much beautiful color in these posts π
I vote orange for the door! Love these posts and especially the ‘craftermath’ – I can relate!
