Our dearest Laura had a birthday this week. We treated her to donuts for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and birthday balloons. She's the ultimate.
We went roller skating to celebrate the release of our Blog Life E-Course. It was super fun, and as you can see, the lighting was ideal. Heh. It was tons of fun, though. Have you ever done the rollerskating limbo? If not, it's quite a treat. We saw a grandma who was killing it at limbo.
It. Was. Inspiring.
My new dream is to age into a rollerskating grandma.

Roller skating!!!! Ah, those were the days. So many memories! I am not ashamed to admit I roller skated to “Gangsta’s Paradise” while holding hands with a boy I liked 😀

Beware the roller skate limbo! I totally thought I was the hotness at a 4th grade roller skating rink party and ended up eating it hard trying to show off during the limbo. One broken arm and a seriously bruised ego later, I’m here to head the warning that we’re not all destined to be bad ass limbo skating grandmas!

Mmmm… Imos! I always forget there are Imos in Springfield. I now have plans for my next visit.
That’s funny! I met a real life roller skating grandma in Walgreen’s a few years back (and I live in Springfield, MO, too). She had teased up platinum blonde hair and wore hot pink/leopard print clothing and glittery makeup. She definitely had a cool attitude that defied her age–which had to be at least 75. Haha!
Laura! I absolutely need to know where you got that Crosby, Stills Nash T. They are one of my favorite groups, and my summer wardrobe will not be complete without it!
