Last year we shared our favorite Spiced Chai recipe and this year we thought, "Why not make a cocktail version?" Plus, little known fact, Jeremy and I shared a spiked chai drink on one of our very first dates. Sigh, memories. Anyway here's another not-technically-a-martini martini. πChai Martini, serves one
1.5 oz Godiva
In a shaker with ice, combine all ingredients. Shake and pour. Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
Spiced Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
In a small pot, combine all ingredients and simmer until sugar in completely dissolved. This can be stored in an airtight container (like a jar) for several weeks without refrigeration.xo! Elsie

OMG! Can’t wait to try this! Genius ladies, pure genius! Love your cocktail recipes…please keep them coming!
Sounds delicious! But calling these super sweet concotions “martinis” would make any mixologist cringe. I would suggest sticking with “spiked chai” as a more accurate name.
Godiva makes a white chocolate liqueur?! I’m about to lose it.
This looks like a phenomenal autumn cocktail.

I started following your blog about 6 months ago and kind of for addicted. I made it a quest of mine to stay at the beginning. Well quest complete. You guys inspire inspire me. I’ve wanted to start a lifestyle/ dig blog for along time. Though I am no where near going 100% but reading your blog has made me feel more confident in what I want to do with my blog. I just wanted to thank you guys for the inspiration. -Theora Palmer

I’m going to try making this. I hope I don’t fail dismally and make a milkshake instead.
Yum!
I have a cute idea/suggestion that I utilize for my bar… for your homemade syrups, bitters, or fresh squeezed juices, you could use 500 ml san pellegrino bottles, they are the perfect size for a pouring spout and after a hot soak, the labels peel right off and you can add your own :]
It’s interesting the comments that make it thru and the ones that don’t, well…anyway, it’s obvious you guys read a certain website. Im sorry for that. Ive stopped commenting there, however, I do wonder the same things…
looks pretty and sounds delicious!

There’s a sushi and Asian fusion restaurant in Nashville on Belmont called PM. I don’t like sushi, but the pork bao is fantastic and their chai-tini is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. You have to try one next time you’re in Nashville.
Yummy dessert. Great day.
