A couple weeks ago my friend, Julia, came over and snapped some special photos of me and Jeremy. I was pretty hesitant because I didn’t feel prepared and our house is still half-finished. But Julia really worked her magic and captured some loving photos that I will treasure forever. I’m so glad I let go of all my excuses and trusted her to do what she does best!
Anyway! Here are some snaps—
ps. Since I know some of you will ask— our light fixtures are from Lucent Light Shop and our breakfast chairs are from Lulu & Georgia, and if you have any other questions, I can answer them in the comments. Both these rooms are 75% complete, but I have a few more finishing touches I want to do before I share the tours with you here (which will be very VERY detailed. I promise! Haha) LOVE YOU.

Your kitchen looks so cosy. These photos are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
it’s so important to have photos taken together so you remember these moments later, especially with how fast time flies in life. your friend did a great job! and major heart-eyes on your kitchen tile pattern.
crown moulding – get some. the room will look unfinished as long as you can see that hot mess where the tile meets the ceiling.
and a rug. marble was an odd choice for a kitchen floor.
The photos are lovely. It’s such a great idea to get nice, natural portraits in your living spaces. x

These are precious! I’d love photos like this of my husband and I in our home!
I’m also curious about that big round bread board on your (beautiful) counter. I’ve been searching for one like it! Where did you get it?
These portraits are so lovely and there is just something so intimate in a lovely unique way of doing a portrait session in your own home amongst all the things that represent you and are loved and used by you daily. Loved this post!

Am I the only person who has an utter distaste for rugs in kitchens apart from non slip ones?
I think marble was an awesome, practical choice as it will stay beautiful for a long time if taken care of properly like any flooring.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!
You have me on the edge of my seat…. I am so looking forward to seeing the finished rooms.the kitchen is so beautiful! And yes the love between you and Jeremy is clear.
I got it from a local shop in Spingfield!
Sorry I can’t be more helpful! You should check Amazon “oversized cutting board” or “cheese board” and places like Williams Sonoma. xoxo!!
