Today I wore… grey skinny jeans courtesy of Levi's, a graphic t-shirt (hand cut into a tank top), cardigan, vintage rosary, vintage cowboy boots. XXOO! Happy Sunday! els
i love the last photo! π my boyfriend collects vintage cameras, I am trying to get him to raodtrip to your store with me π I told him all about it. He visits Troy a LOT. Not sure how far that is, but it can’t be too bad!
sorry but i really DISLIKE the whole about the rosaries… i dont think people should wear it as accesories… sorry but its just stupid… and no catholics wear them on the outside and use them only for praying… its like wearing buddhist malas around to SHOW what you are but what you really arent… i dont know whats so special about wearing them… sorry but i had to write this
mlin, it’s not ok to use profanity on my blog. it’s a family friendly blog. i’ll delete that, but leave the rest of your comment. you are entitled to your own opinion. my grandma is catholic and i have a lot of things she has given me. they are sentimental and beautiful to me and I enjoy wearing them. You don’t have to agree with my wardrobe, but it would be nice to use a more respectful tone. It’s very important to me that this blog is a place full of kindness and inspiration, everyone can have their own opinions while still maintaining these standards. Thanks!
As a Catholic, personally I’m not a huge fan of treating the Rosary as jewelry, but for the most part I do enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing with us.
This just might be one of my favorite outfit posts.
You look just as ADORABLE in this, as you do all of those lovely dresses you wear.
Pretty pretty lady.
i always love these posts of yours, you have the cutest wardrobe! however, i also disagree with wearing rosaries as a fashion accessory (since thats not its purpose). however, i think its awesome that its got such sentimental value being handed down from your grandma- thats really neat.
Hi people who are reading this and may or may not be getting upset over Elsie’s outfit…
***Please excuse my humble opinion:
1.Things that ARE UNnecessary to be concerned with in life- Man made objects (ie: rosaries and other material things) and what people do with them so long as they aren’t harming anyone.
2.Things that ARE necessary to be concerned with in life- your OWN relationship with God whether it exists or not and what YOU do with it.
that’s all :))
Elsie… I’ve watched that shirt go through it’s life with you from shirt to tank. FUN!
xo.
Love those jeans! I know it would be a really *simple* post for you, but I would love a how-to guide on hand cutting a t-shirt into a tank- I’ve tried before and failed miserably π
