Hi guys! Just wanted to share a few updates of scrapbook pages I've been making. This first page is from when Emma and Trey got engaged!
Here are some memories from Emma's bridal shower. I had fun using the numbered card to jot down 10 little moments and memories from that day.
Here are the links to the Project Life things that Emma and I designed- Sunshine Edition Core Kit, Sunshine Edition Dividers, Sunshine Edition 12×12 Papers.
I'm working on getting my photos organized to do a massive six year catch-up scrapbook weekend. My goal is to get all of our memories since Jeremy and I first met (including the wedding!) into albums this winter.
I'm really excited about the 12×12 papers that we designed. They have major DIY potential. I'm thinking about using them as mats to frame a series of photos. What would you use them for?
More soon! I'm so happy that I caught the scrapbook bug again! xo. elsie
ps. Look at this adorable Project Life Party that my pal, Candice, created with some of our cards!

Yes! Project Life is an awesome way to catch up. My husband calls it “lazy scrapbooking” haha. But I told him it’s the only way I can catch up on so many years of photos just sitting in boxes. And it looks so pretty when it’s done!
I love the way you scrap book! They always look so amazing and very you!
I need to start making my own

Oh, I should really do the same, because I have unsorted photos from at least the last 20 years π

Love the papers you designed! Good luck getting all your memories scrapped – sounds like a big project.
I never thought to do a scrapbook this way. Absolutely fab. Paint samples from the hardware store would be cute, too! And free!
So lovely π

I don’t know where you girls get all this inspiration (yes, i’ve seen the link to Project life party), but it’s gets me all excited about my mess at home π
What a beautiful way to cherish your memories!

OH!, I totally use scrap booking paper for matting! When I worked in the frame shop at Hobby Lobby and had the handy dandy drymounting machine, I used the glue medium that we have, and vaccuum glued the scrapbooking paper I wanted to black core mats! Of course now, I mod podge and cut my own mat boards. I have a handy post on my blog on an introduction to self framing, I haven’t updated to include how to assemble your own frame or anything like that yet, but I have the basics on there.
I kinda want to go to Hob Lob now and grab that fancy blue flower page and turn it into a mat now!

I LOVE the idea of Project life…but I just do NOT understand how to cut my photos to those sizes you show…
I hope your kit will go digital soon! I would like to add embellishments to papers for 4×6 or 2×3 pockets but will also mat some of the pics.

Hi Elsie,
Please share your massive scrapbook project, as I am gearing up for the same thing and would love to see how you do it and what tips you would have. Thanks!
I am bowing deeply and admire your discipline! My pictures are scattered all over my harddrive and in several old shoe boxes under my bed. It would probably take me a month to gett hem organized…
What a fabulous idea to scrapbook like this. I always mess up the glue but this way it’s perfect π Looking forward to scrap again.

I actually hadn’t heard of Project Life since reading your blog (we don’t really get things like that over in the UK), but I’ve been looking into starting one up, especially since we took a two week road trip from Vegas-Phoenix last month! It looks like such a fun and easy way to document things and I love the stuff that you guys designed too! So cute!
Have a lovely week!
