I don’t know how you do it, where do you find all of these wonderful and amazing ideas?? I know only one thing: you inspire us, you inspired me so much that I started to painting – first time since I was 17 years old (looong time ago … I’m 29, but tssss don’t say it anyone)
I don’t see how anyone could have the patience to embroider by hand. I work at the embroidery shop at Branson Landing and I’m just in awe of the machines. Even the most simpliest of patterns is more than I want to think about doing by hand, but I love playing with the machines!
I just love your art Elsie! It’s so fun and whimsical. You have more patience than most (to be able to sit there and hand sew)! Can’t wait to see more! =)
This is so cute. How neat this would be done on blocks for a baby quilt. I love the painted parts too. I can embroider simple stitches like that. Can’t wait for the tutorial on how you accomplished this combination, paint and embroidery.
