After Elsie shared her wishlist this month I wanted to get in on it too! Here are a few things I’ve been window shopping for lately. I’m obsessed with denim for fall. I’m also always in the market for a new cookbook and this one is by one of my favorite bloggers. Do you guys have any book recommendations?

The toaster is so pretty!
I really like the dress in number nine, the colours sort of match the design of my new blog style. I would definitely recommend Life of Pi, by Yann Martel. It is one of the most moving books I have ever read.

Oops, I see you mean cookbooks. A cookbook I would recommend is The Naked Chef Take’s Off.

Step by step baking, by Caroline Bretherton is my favourite cookbook in English at the moment. I bought it on Amazon and find it perfect: great explanations and multiple pictures of the step by step. If you want to take advantage of your oven, this is your book. Or at least, it’s mine. 🙂
Love love love your blog, by the way. I never comment, though! 😛

What a great list! I’m absolutely loving the dress on the far right!
Not really a new book but Falling Cloudberries by Tessa Kiros is gorgeous. I understand she has others that are equally lovely. I like Falling Cloudberries so much because it’s a cookbook but also her genealogical record.
If you don’t mind a little bit of a dark story line I would recommend you read “Age of Miracles”. It was very insightful and a little bit creepy!
Adore that backpack!

Hi Emma! I love the dress, so beautiful! I recommend “Juliet naked” by Nick Hornby. I’ll get Gone Girl soon, I found your review interesting. xoxo

I don’t know about cooking, but for baking Whoopie Pies (by Sarah Billingsley and Amy Treadwell) has some great recipes in it and is a nice book-as-object as well. Also, if you’re looking for some good recreational reading (based on your previous book reviews) I really think you would enjoy A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini (he wrote the Kite Runner). It’s a little dark, but there are really interesting female protagonists and boy is it a page turner!
Ooh fashion picks and cookbook recommendation YAY
I’m very into Babycakes but that’s mostly sweets

Hey Emma! I love that back pack! I have a similar puffy vest that I can’t wait to wear. I recommend Food from Many Greek Kitchens by Tessa Kiros, the recipes are simple and Greek food is boss!
Not to sound too creepy, but I am seriously in love with your blog now. I think I’m developing an obsession.
Kisses from Finland!

My fall obsession is t-shirt type shirts with maxi skirts and knit jackets over. Of course western style accents go with all my clothes.

Hey Emma,
I came across the yellow color block dress you want while browsing ideeli.com (such an awesome site, if you haven’t checked it out before.)
link: http://www.ideeli.com/events/99726/offers/5520678/latest_view/2621326
It’s so cute, and cheaper on ideeli than ModCloth. Always looking for those deals! 😉
Cheers!
