We are in full-fledge fall season here in southern Missouri. I’m sure we still have a few more warm days ahead. But the leaves are changing, my jackets are starting to get use, and I am in the mood for lattes and anything with melted cheese on it at all times. π Currently I’m on the lookout for a cute weekend bag. I’ve had a couple of weekend trips in the last month and realized I need to invest in a better bag (one with a zipper on top!). I’m also obsessed with the dream of owning a home espresso maker. I love to get coffee out (current favorite local spot is the hub!), but the idea of making a late afternoon latte at home/the office excites me. I’m easily excited.
What are you dreaming about this month? xo. Emma

My boyfriend really wants an espresso machine too, but they’re just so expensive! Arrgg π
I hope that when you say “I die for cute boots” you say it with a charming Minnesotan accent. Like, “Cue-et Boo-ets!”
Just posted my own wishlist today, actually! http://www.lesleymyrick.com/2012/10/dreaming-wishing.html xo
This is my winter woodland inspired wishlist for the week :)… They started at monthly wishlist and quickly turned into weekly ones ha!

Hi Emma! Love your wishlist… just a funny little thing; for a split second I thought item #1 was a gold bikini top! Wahoo!
I was looking at a bag like that for my sister for Christmas, but I bought her a watch instead. You can see it on my Love is Golden post…shhh
And that espresso maker…oh my!

Wisconsin here, I wish there were still a few warm days left! All the leaves have changed and gone, there’s been a little snow, and I’m freeking my little toes off! Enjoy it while it lasts because we’ll be skiing in no time here! (:
Where do you guys find all this awesome stuff?
very cute!

I just ordered it!
That bag is perfect! I love it!!
And who couldn’t use a latte maker, I’d make one everyday!!
i love your list! i’ve been lusting over a home espresso maker for years but they are just way out of my budget. do you know of a less expensive version? xx
I just got the ShoeMint bag. I love it, but you will have to pack light to make it a weekend bag.
I’ve been looking for a nice weekend bag too, but have had no luck. I wish I had my own latte maker at home! Morning beverages and after noon pick me ups would make me feel so much more special.

cute pics! love the bag!

I have owned a few home espresso makers and the best one BY FAR is a nespresso….check it out. I got the most basic version and then microwave a glass of milk..pump it in a french press (this will froth it:)) and then place the shots on top. Heavenly!! Tastes as good or better than any drink I have ever had out…trust me, if you are wanting one this is the way to go!

I think the espresso machine is a permanent wishlist item! I agree, it would be amazing to be able to make lattes at home.
The carry all tote is super cute! Wonder if it’s big enough to use as a diaper bag?
I too have dreams of having my own espresso machine, commercial grade! Growing up, our neighbors across the street were first generation Italians, and the mom had a huge industrial espresso machine in her kitchen. It was wonderful to visit them in the afternoon!
love the bag.. π

Everything is really cute! Also, I’ve always wanted a Latte maker so I wouldn’t have to spend what little money I have on Starbucks lattes.

I’m dreaming of these gorgeous sequined leggings..http://thewanderingelefant.blogspot.com/

Love the boots so much! At first I thought the necklace was a chain mail bikini top! I was thinking to myself ” those girls would totally make that work underneath a cute white dress with a motorcycle jacket!”- Then upon closer inspection, I realized it was a cute, collar inspired necklace! I’m such a dork!
Those boots are so perfect, they remind me of a pair of Freebird leather boots I’ve been lusting after for ages.
PS: Stop by my blog for my latest post – I found a vintage very Moonrise Kingdom dress!

I adore your selection! It is perfect indeed for october’s wishes. Special note on the cutest boots ever that you found and that espresso machine, just love Breville. In fact, the day I will buy an espresso machine, I want to pay a good one, even if its expensive, and I decided that it will be my gift for finishing my university degree in literature, cant wait to make night latte’s even if I enjoy discovering coffeeshops!
We love our espresso machine (actually we normally just call it a coffee machine here in Australia) lots of people have them at home now….my hubby has 2 coffees a day and now likes having them at home more than going out as he makes better coffee reliably than at a cafe.
Good fresh beans, good coffee grinder , good machine , lots of practice = great coffees. I don’t drink coffee but I love it for the steamed frothy milk for my hot chocolates or baby chinos for the kids π
Maybe it can be on your Christmas list from Santa π
I absolutely love the idea of lattes at home, if I had a big enough kitchen…..

I think I’ll be dreaming about those cute boots too now, Thanks! xo Laura
Hey! If you’re looking for a good deal on an espresso machine until you can get a really expensive one, I have a Capresso and love it! I use Starbuck’s espresso in it and it tastes wonderful. It’s a great machine for the price π

i feel like we have such similar taste in things! i’ve been wanting a letterman-style jacket since last Fall. and this year they’ve been popping up everywhere! love it.
Nice wish list! (I love love LOVE that ring!) It’s so much fun to see the lists, keep them coming π

Weekend trip bag, yes please!
At the first sight, I thought, “What? A chain bra?” And then I realized it’s a necklace! Guess I’m needing some coffee from a great coffee machine, hehe. It’s way too early in the morning here…

The boots are fantastic!
How funny, in Holland everybody has a coffee maker and people barely get coffee at places like Starbucks. We do sometimes as a special treat!
I love the bag that you picked, I have one that looks like it only mine is all black and grey and the bottom part is leather.
Wonderful wish list! Love the jacket!

Thanks for sharing!
Ohhh I adore that ring! It’s such a curse that I can’t drink coffee either, as that Espresso machine is lovely, and I do like coffee! Silly heart problem. Decaf just isn’t cricket!

I wish it was cooler here in Florida, its still in the 80s everyday!!!! I would do so well in a place with mini-seasons! That way it would be over with before I got sick of it:)
love the boots and the latte machine π
Love it, Emma! There’s nothing better than having a latte at your own kitchen table. π At our house we use a stovetop milk steamer –have you seen these? It’s basically a tiny pressure cooker with a steam wand on the side (we have a Bellman). Then we make a really strong shot of coffee with our bialetti or french press. Maybe I’ll blog about it soon… But check it out! It commands less countertop space (precious at our place…) π
On my wishlist? A sweater dress for every day between now and spring.
Love that necklace! So cute!

I would definitely recommend investing in an espresso mnachine. I worked at a coffee shop for years, so when I got married my friends all pitched in to get me one – and I don’t think I could live without it now! (my husband would agree, sometimes a mocha on his bedside table is the only thing to lure him out of bed in the morning)
First thing on my wish list is new yarn! Just finished a big knit quilt, and now its scarf season!
my husband and i are huge coffee lovers, but we recently moved to south florida, and unfortunately coffee culture is ZERO here. so we decided to use some of our wedding gift cards and returns and buy that breville espresso machine and it is SOOO GOOD. the coffee is great and the whole process of making it yourself is so much fun. i truly and honestly look forward to it each morning π
That expresso machine would save me so much money. π
I would really love to have a geometric shaped necklace. I found one and bought it. I love it, but it’s still not quite what I want.
omg, I totally need a good weekender bag, and this one looks just perfect!
love the weekender bag-I wish i had more weekend trips to take π
That is the same espresso machine I have my eye on!!!!
My husband and I love the Hub! Its definitely our favorite coffee shop in Springfield!
I have been pining over that EXACT espresso machine >< It's just so beautiful π There's no way I could afford it now, so I've decided to get a "Moka Pot" until one day when I can get that espresso maker. I love that it grinds the beans as necessary. Oh the lattes it would create <3
Love the vest!

I love the bag! And these boots are great to look at, too! Very nice compilation.
Lattes at home sounds wonderful ^_^
I have that exact coffee machine. I love it.
We were staying at a self contained cabin in the Barossa Valley (I live in Australia), and we decided we had to get one for our own.
Love the way you can grind beans β and if you get a coffee subscription then you’ll have fun trialling different types of blends too!
Fun! If you really want to splurge on an espresso machine, go full board with the Breville Dual Boiler (pricy but the best affordable option short of a La Marzocco GS3) or something more affordable but still high quailty is the Rancilio Silvia.
Seems like we have a similar mind. Everything on my wish list is on your wish list too. What a coincidence. Even I was wishing to buy an espresso coffee machine and I wished to enjoy lattes at home. Unfortunately, my bank balance is the only thing that is holding back my wishes.
