This past weekend we celebrated Emma’s and Trey’s upcoming wedding with a peanut-butter-themed shower. The shower was held at our favorite local creperie. We landed on a peanut butter theme, since Emma and Trey both love peanut butter—lucky for everyone, because peanut butter is DELICIOUS.
We wanted the shower to feel personal and cozy, so we centered the event around what they love: friends, food, drinks and inside jokes. 🙂 Like this table cloth for example, Selena Gomez lyrics. Huh?
These are the invites that our brother Doren and I designed.
Emma made peanut butter cupcakes with askinosie chocolate icing. I know what you’re thinking: “How rude, Elsie! Emma shouldn’t have to bake for her own shower.” But you can’t stop her! I tried but failed. The girl loves to bake. These cupcakes were absolutely incredible (recipe coming soon, of course!).

very cute. i love showers where the men are invited. i hate leaving them out. plus, why should the girls get all the fun? the guy is getting married too 🙂
This is such a cool idea! I baked my own cupcakes for my wedding, and it was great – very good calming moments during a hectic time! I love the idea of the peanut butter on spoons – it’s one of my favorite go-to snacks!

Peanut, peanut butter–jelly… do you know that song? Maybe not, but it’s a good one. This PB theme is so outdide the box–err jar, rather. Way to have a co-ed wedding shower, I mean talk about “spreading” the love.
This place looks amazing (those umbrellas, just like in a fairytale). You two always impress me with your ideas for themed events and this one in particular, everthing looks beautiful and delicious! I cannot wait for the weddind!!!
