I am loving the early fall vibes! It’s got me in the mood to make some purchases. I am on the look out for some closed-toe shoes. I, apparently, spent the whole summer wearing and buying nothing but sandals. I’m trying to find some options that will keep my toes warm but will go well with both skirts and jeans. I’m also seriously considering learning to can this autumn. Seems like such a cool skill! What is at the top of your wishlist this month? xo. Emma

I’m drooling over those boots and picturing a thousand different outfits they’d go with!
That’s my fav canning book! It’s wonderful! The recipes take longer and are a bit messier but are totally worth the outcome. Less sugar and no pectin. Hooray canning!
Boot season at last!! 🙂 At the top of my list is cleaning out the closet.

Ohh I can with my mom and grandma every year! We do tomatoes and I live on an apple orchard, so we do a ton of apples. And apple cider!(:

I am so dying over those boots!
Love all those shoes and accessories! The studded shoes are fantastic!
Uh, that French Press is Ah-mazing! And canning is an amazing skill to have, a bit of a science, but well worth the effort! Can’t wait to see you document the process!!! 🙂

You should definitely learn to can! My grandma used to can all the time and when she passed away my dad gave me all her canning equipment. I taught myself how to do it using all her stuff as a way to feel connected to her. It really takes you to another time. I love it! Good luck!
I have those boots! They’re absolutely amazing and very versatile!
omg that Kate Spade bag is AMAZING! I have a skirt with buttons just like that. One of my favorite fall items. Definitely going on my wish list as well!

I absolutely love the french press!
That’s the book I’ve been teaching myself to can from! It’s wonderful.
Canning is very fun, especially if you grow your own veggies and want to preserve them. its a good skill to have, but not all recipes are created equally, make sure the ones you use are up to date, and follow recipes to the T! my favorite book is Put Em’ Up, by Sherri Brooks Vinton. I have also been slaving away for several weeks making this jam http://www.foodinjars.com/2010/09/tomato-jam/
it is amazing! I will be handing them out as wedding favors at my wedding next month!!! happy canning!-Jess

i gave someone my french press because i was appalled that they’ve never had coffee from one before. now i am sans french press and this makes me so sad. i love the one you picked out. i am definitely getting one this weekend.
also, canning is SO fun! i canned for the first time about a month ago. i think it made my country boy of a husband very proud of me. 🙂
Ooh. I have that cookbook! It has all kinds of great, creative ideas for all kinds of preserving. Hope you get to have it!
Nice choices. I have that exact French press coffee maker, only in chrome. It looks beautiful on display!
Omg! Want that french press! Just added it to my Amazon wish list!

Fair warning… my friend just got a pair of #8 a few weeks ago, and she absolutely loves them, but they definitely add a few scrapes to your legs when you walk…. just something to look out for…..
ALSO! if you end up learning how to can you really should put some posts up!! i’ve been dying to learn but dont know where to start! 🙂
Great list!

Hey, that canning book is awesome — it’s my go-to. The other one is called Put ’em Up, which has more than just canning and some quicker recipes, too. Have fun!
Oh, and those boots? Awesome!!
I’m beyond digging Canning for a New Generation! Now I have ANOTHER must-have!
love the gorgeous french press and the book about canning. i’ve been on the hunt for some leather pants and some amazing black boots that will go with everything.

Loving it all. Esp the Kate Spade purse. The top of my wish list this month is a timi & leslie diaper bag! lol
You should totally learn to can! I recommend the big Ball Book of Canning – it’s a lifesaver when it comes to step-by-step guides for safe canning. From there, you can conquer the world! (Or at least the pear tree in the backyard!)
That is the most gorgeous bag that I have ever seen! SO. CUTE.

I’ve had my eye on that dress from ModCloth too! Seeing it with those boots really gets me thinking… perhaps a good pairing? Hmm.
As alway, you’ve got the greatest taste!
Cute! Love the boots, dress, and those studded flats!
I am getting into fall also and just did a fashion post

That purse is a keeper.

Emma,
Always amazing style! But I have a REQUEST: could you please post a DIY and or general guidelines to making such an amazing table?? I “pined it” right away! I couldn’t be anymore envious of such amazing work!
🙂
Nice photos! This is really a very cool post. I love it so much! Really amazing. And for the record I love the #8.
Yes to the French press! I make my coffee in a French press every morning here in Paris– it is the ONLY way to make your coffee, and this one is awesome! Also, I love the edgy, geometric look you’re cultivating here! It makes me want to give it a shot 🙂
Smiles and all the best,
Savannah

great idea making these lists! makes me want to shop! so i did mine too : it’s here: http://grrlscrap.blogspot.com/2012/09/wishlist-de-lautomne.html
The coffee maker is adorable! I like your taste.
I think ankle boots are going to be my fall go-to. Perfect with skirts and pants. Canning is so much fun! Make sure you follow the recipe exactly (I have a husband who has a tendency to double/triple anything and it led to a marmalade debacle last christmas) I’m dying to make red pepper jelly because you can’t get in Denmark. Hurmph.
I want a new coffeemachine, since I don´t have my own and I couldn´t take the one, which was in the old flat. I think I´ll go for a bit more expensive one, which I can keep for a few years.
Love boots and the dress number 2!
Super-cool-Emma 😉

Love the dresses, they are super cute. Hope they do UK delivery!

Was thinking of buying that book about canning myself! 🙂 Can’t wait to read about your canning adventures! 🙂
love the dress, booth and bag.
you have a class taste, mate
I’m with you on the canning goal. I’ve only done freezer stuff this summer…. tomato sauce, jams, pumpkin butter.. but I would love to learn pickles and salsas and chutneys as well.
My sis has that french press, and it’s SO gorgeous. It’s beautiful on the counter as a piece of decor. great list! xo
love the shoes and boots!
xo, cheyenne
Get some ballet flats!! They’re perfect for fall but you can wear them all year+they’re totally in right now
I really can’t get over those studded shoes! (I like studded everything) And I’m also a sucker for gold 🙂
