March is here! It's going to be one of those crazy-busy-full-of-wonderful months, I predict. 😉 I'm so excited to share with you some new features coming to A Beautiful Mess this month. This blog is my baby (i really feel that way) and over the past 6 months our readership has grown and grown! It's an honor and I am so excited to put even more effort and love into this blog. My goal is for it to be an inspiring place for all of my creative kindred spirits!
recently, i've had an overwhelming desire to make cupcakes. i've decided to turn it into a new weekly blog feature so we can all enjoy them together… ♥

A Beautiful Mess Blog Contributors
I am extremely excited to announce a new team of writers here at A Beautiful Mess. The new contributors will share one DIY project and one Style Crush feature each month. That means that (in addition to my regular project postings) we will now have double the amount of DIY projects, starting this week! These contributing writers will be a part of the blog for the next four months. They are full of positivity, enthusiasm and fresh perspective. I'm excited to welcome them…
Amanda Johnson of Here's Looking at Me Kid has gorgeous vintage inspired style and one of the coolest homes I've ever seen! She loves scrapbooking, thrifting and design.
Promise Tangeman Wurzell is a designer and artist with an eye for remaking everyday objects. She has amazing style, crazy photography skills and tons of personality!
Alec Vanderboom is one of my favorite photographer pals! He has cool and quirky style with a lightheartedness that is contagious. So excited to have a guy-with-style's perspective here on the blog!
Amy Cluck is as sweet as sugar! Her style is charming, colorful and full of cute. She is full of creative energy and fun ideas… it's inspiring!
Sarah Lockhart is a new mom with a natural eye for pretty things. She has great taste and fun ideas for little cuties! I'm so happy she's going to be a part of my blog.
The last new weekly feature I'll be adding to the schedule is an indie artist spotlight! I feature independent artists' work here often, but this new feature will be a more in-depth review (with lots of photos!) of new artists, designers and occasional bands who have caught my attention. It's all about sharing the love & supporting art I believe in! ♥

So I normally don’t comment but, i am super excited about all of the new things you have going on. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you that you and your friends with Red Velvet Art inspire me every day. Ya’ll are doing what me and my friends have been doing for a while as hobbies, but you’ve made it your life, your career, something I never dreamed of! You’ve inspired me to start my own blog, its still a baby I am working on a background and a banner and such, but its cute, I think! Again thank you so much for just being you and doing what God has obviously called you to do! Just know that you don’t just inspire the people your around and your family but you’ve somehow managed to inspire this girl that lives all the way in Louisiana! and I am sure many many many other starving artists around the world. I made the ice cream cone cupcakes last night! I used strawberry cake mix, vanilla icing, springtime sprinkles, and robin egg candies for a nice spring treat for the 1st of March. Thanks for the inspiration!

MONSTER PURSE!!!
The frowny monster purse that is in Alec Vanderboom’s picture is my favorite purse ever! I found it at a Marshall’s of all places, and I’ve treasured it ever since. But it’s falling apart because I used it to much. I need to buy more of them, but I have no idea where they originally came from. I almost want to frame what is left of mine.
