mr. larson brought me home $27 in jelly beans from DisneyLand (all our favorite flavors!). can't really think of a more exciting gift.♥ they lessened my pain when i had to send my iPhone off for repair yesterday… *tear*.
i have a new favorite pair of earrings. i'm gonna have to customize them to regular posts (they are clip-ons at the moment) because they hurt my ears. would that be an interesting DIY or is it too obvious? by the way, any DIY projects you'd like to see this summer?
yesterday we went antique shopping for our first day together (post tour). it was really nice. i don't think i found anything, but jeremy found something pretty crazy and cool. he only looks for music gear and cute men's clothing… both very difficult to find compared to the stuff i enjoy shopping for, so i'm super happy when he finds great stuff!
today we are getting ready to my garage sale tomorrow (details in the post below) and hanging out with pals! i'm pretty excited. Loveloves, elsie

I would love to see a DIY on reposting earrings!! I am allergic to nickel and there are tones of earrings I wish I can wear.
Maybe DIYs on reposting both clip-ons and post earrings? I have been thinking about reposting some fashion post earrings that have nickel in them but not sure how to break the post off properly and adhere new ones securely.
It might be something that’s super obvious to people who are into jewelry making but I am sure there are readers out there who would be interested. Like me! I look forward to the post!!!

I inherited tons of my grandmother’s beautiful costume jewelry, but all the earings are clip ons so i rarely wear them
I can remember (in the 50’s) when my mother wore earrings that had screws on the backs of them….ladies called them ‘ear screws’ instead of earrings. She would hold them in her lap on the way to church and would put them on right before going into church because they hurt her ears so much. The things we do to look pretty! Love your new clip ons.

I think a DIY on making clip-on earrings into posts is a fabulous idea. I always find a cute earrings when I go thrifting, but they’re almost always clip-ons, so I pass 🙁

I would love to see a DYI on decorating a room. It doesn’t need to be a specific room (even though on my mind I have a nursery and/or a sleeping room), but more focused on how to choose colors that match (should we use 2, 3, 4 colors…), how to distribute the space (furniture on the walls or in the center, how many “big” pieces of furniture), etc.
That would be amazing!
