Have you ever been with a group of friends at a new-to-you bar and everyone is already set to order, so you panic and have to pick something quick? Ha. When this happens to me I almost always just pick a cocktail that has grapefruit in the description. I feel like you can’t go wrong!
This is probably why one of my favorite, easy-to-make-at-home, cocktails is a Salty Dog (which is basically a Greyhound but with a salted rim). It’s simple, tart, and totally refreshing.
But the weather is currently heating up in my neck of the woods (literally my house backs up to the woods—ha), so if it’s not chilled, I’m not interested. And the only thing better than a chilled cocktail is probably a frozen one! Feels so special.
We are currently working on sprucing up our back patio and I can’t wait until we’re finished and we get to sit outside as the sun sets and sip a few cocktails together this summer! xo. Emma

Citrus always seems to be the best for thirst quenching and feeling refreshed! I bet this will hit the spot on a warm afternoon! Thanks, Emma!
Cannot get enough of your delicious cocktail recipes! Oh and I visited The Golden Girl Rum Club earlier this week while on my honeymoon and was enthralled with every drink we tried! Wasn’t there a cocktail similar there at your bar? I guess I can check when I get home as I purchased a menu as a souvenir 🙂
Oh my goodness this looks so delicious!!!! Any ways to make this a non-alcoholic drink that isn’t dull?

Hmm, well that’s sort of the problem with non-alcoholic drinks isn’t it?
JK. 🙂 I’m just being cheeky.
Honestly this would still be quite good with just omitting the vodka. Another thing I thought about trying next time I blend these up is adding a tablespoon of cream of coconut. I think this would make it even more summer-y feeling and might be something to try to make it even more special if you are omitting the spirits. Good luck and cheers!
That sounds like the perfect drink for the weekend, yummy!

Love! Love! Love! My new favorite summer drink. The cocktail glasses are amazing. They look vintage, but if you know where I can find some, please pass on the info. Thanks!
Oh my word, these sound delicious! I love tart icy cocktails!
