I had so much fun writing this next feature! We partnered up with Photojojo to show you something extra special. They have a Diana + Lens that you can use on your digital camera. For those of you who aren't familiar, Diana + cameras are a toy camera famous for dreamy, surreal photos. The thing that's so neat about using this lens on a digital camera is that you can experiment and take as many photos as you want. Most rolls of 120 film for Diana + cameras only take 16 photos, so the freedom to experiment is a pretty big deal to me. Emma and I spent some time playing around with window light. Here are some photos we took with this fun lens…

Now that I have a good digital camera (that is not my cell phone), I might have to ask for this for my birthday in March. I am a little obsessed with light, to the point that I bought both the SunDroid and The Photographer’s Ephemeris. Both absolutely amazing for planning your shots around natural light.
i have the whole set from photojojo for my nikon! (the lens adapter, fisheye, telephoto, wide angle, etc. for i think $140 total.) they’re really fun to play with, but a little hard to control the focus. but since it’s digital, it’s easier to experiment and perfect without wasting money or film. you can make your own vignetting, too, by placing a piece of paper (with a hole in the center) between the camera and the lens adapter.
these are so dreamy and romantic! i actually won a diana camera in a blog giveaway & gave it to my hubby for Christmas. excited to see how his photos turn out!

I tottaly blame you for directing me to photojojo!!! I just spent an entire hour I COULD HAVE USED for my blog drooling over things in the photojojo site. I could really use that silly hood for my flash! Save me alot of time finding the perfect light in my otherwise dark room. :duh dum dum:
OMG, you mean we can purchase the lens and put it on our digi cam! I am so looking for that! I always have probs developing my film cause I never get them out from my holga properly and they get exposed, sob. Now this will solve probs! Thanks so much for sharing!
Love this post! I recently bought a canon adapter for my diana F+ so I can experiment (so hard to learn what does what when you can’t see the photos).. Felt a little like I was betraying film, but it’s oh so fun!

I have a holga lens like this for my canon, but its way too up close to take any good pictures indoors. can you get a wide angle on this lens?
