hello. how are you? i'm trying to keep myself busy-busy-busy. well, it's not that difficult ;).
i added a few more girls to Team Lovely tonight. wanna see?
i had tons and tons of requests for custom Team Lovely girls last week. i wanted to let you know that while i don't do commissions (not right now, they make me SUPER nervous and aren't as much fun for me) i would love to hear what hair color, eye color or little ideas you'd like to see! something about my paintings that i honestly never anticipated is that people like to buy paintings that look like themselves (or loved ones). i want to try to accommodate that while still keeping as much artistic freedom as possible! so if you have a specific idea of the girl you'd like to 'adopt' please leave me a comment and i will keep a running list for inspiration! :)

I have two friends who put up their Christmas lights and decorations today. So you are among a host of others who cannot wait. As for myself, I am way unmotivated to dig out my decoration boxes from under the stairs just yet. I’ll settle for pulling out my holiday music — can’t get enough of it, and 2 months to do all that listening just doesn’t seem like enough time.

I’m glad someone else is as excited about Christmas! My sister and I brought out our boxes and boxes of decorations and put up some in the kitchen. It’s red themed in there this year and kinda looks like a candy cane exploded but in a good way. Anyways, have fun 🙂
No judging here – I’m excited for Xmas too 😉 Oh, and I have a pink bike and LOVE it.

1. UO bikes don’t come sized for people under 5’5″. Once again, I’m thrown into a fit of height (or lack thereof) induced rage. [not really]
2. Thank GOD, there are other people there who are squirming in their skin trying to wait to put up a tree. I usually hold out until T-day, but if other people aren’t waiting…

I just opened my Etsy shop today and I just posted a funky Santa hat that I crocheted. I collect all kinds of Santa hats! I mentioned in the description that we put our tree up before Thanksgiving last year and was thinking oh I hope I’m not judged for that! LOL!!
Then I come here and read you are putting yours up! I feel vindicated!!! I think I’ll put ours up even earlier than I did last year. Maybe even next week! It’s great to be freed up, isn’t it?
I too would like one for my daughter’s room. She is almost 2 yrs old so would need to be a little girl. Brown tiny pig tails and big brown eyes. (Oh and since it’s my wish list can it be in a print not canvas? -I’m on a budget. LOL)Thanks! Love your loveliness!

We’re putting up Christmas decorations in our store, too. We have Christmas open house next weekend!
whatever… christmas trees on the first of nov is the way to go! i would totally have mine up but it’s the mother in laws year to decorate the house… blah
my husband refuses to let me put up the tree until Thanksgiving. so i’m going to just start slowly putting up other decorations! he can’t do too much about it, either, because his birthday’s in mid-december, so i’m just going to use the excuse that i’m decorating for his birthday!
i’m so glad i’m not the only one jumping out of my skin for christmas this year.
My partner wanted to get the xmas tree out today too — I only resist due to a newly mobile baby who I KNOW is going to want to pull our trees (yes, treeS) down!
I love those bikes! I dream of a pretty bike. I’m also super excited about christmas – they were playing christmas music at Michaels today, and it really made me want to put up the tree.
i think it would be awesome to see a lovely girl with crazy colored hair, like magenta hi-lights or neon green.

I’m seriously putting our tree up this week too! This season is already short enough, so let’s milk it! I’m decorating the salon tomorrow too, I’m thinking about painting a TON on pine cones teal blue, and having them all over. And lots of feathers!! FAV TIME EVER!

If I didn’t think my darling husband would go in to a fit I’d totally be putting up Chrissie decorations now too. We’ve only been married for three weeks and he’s not exactly a fan of the big celebration thing. I figure I’ll just break him in gently this year and see how he handles my holiday cheer. Christmas is absolutely my favourite holiday and as far as I’m concerned the decorations never seem to stay up long enough.

i don’t want to be a downer or tell you what to buy, but those bikes are really no good. the pedals aren’t sturdy and the frame isn’t well built; it’s actually kind of unsafe. I ride a bike for transportation in my city and when mine broke I did a lot of research and I looked at those almost immediately because they are so fun. You also cannot put a rear basket or rack on them. i just wanted to tell you that!

I’d love to see a lovely with blondish hair (sort of like the third one) but with grey eyes and red glasses 😉 That’s my daughter in a nutshell and I think she’s quite lovely.
We just started a small group study of the purpose of Christmas and I am truly thinking of starting my decorating early this year. Usually- we wait until the day after Thanksgiving, but one of the main purposes of Christmas is celebration! And I’m sure every time you look at those trees it makes you feel like celebrating Christmas
