We're both super excited and emotional about this giveaway! Jeremy and I have been trying to find new homes for our beautiful dachshund and pug for a few weeks now, because they just aren't really fitting our lifestyle anymore. We love them, but we just can't handle the dog hair and accidents anymore. We think they would be better off in new a home!
So we thought about it, and what better place for Dolly and Suki than one of our readers' homes?! So it's the ultimate giveaway! I know you're probably wondering two things: (1) Are you giving them away as a pair? and (2) Can I still enter if I live outside the US?

I have adopted a small street Diva, a Chiahuahua mix from Spain as she was tossed into the street to die. I have two other wonderful mutts aswell, one Italian Greyhound and a gorgeos one of a kind Chinese Crested/Pug mix
They are my treasures and have cost a pretty penny in vetcare and accidenst,men but ill never give them away, I rather give the guy whom Im living with up first. Come to think of it I trade him for a new pup or a cool sofa anyday hahaha 😀

This made me so sad at first. haha As a dog owner/lover myself, I could not imagine this.

OMG! I couldn’t believe what I was reading but I totally fell for it. You got me! You’re gonna think silly me but as a cat shelter volunteer I’ve heard/seen worse. One of our ex volunteers abandonned 4 of her cats at our door step last year. 1 is still with us but she is too old by most people’s standards (12 years old) to be adopted and has a chronic disease anyway. Poor Tama. And bad Elsie!

I was so sad about this considering how much I love my babies (aka dogs), but I’m thrilled to know it’s an April fools joke.
Hi, I’m interested in adopting one of the dogs. I love both breeds! I can’t handle both sadly though. I live in Baltimore and have an apartment, so a smaller dog would be perfect. It would be great if you could let me know if thats a possibility or not? I do have a cat so if one of them gets along with cats and also other dogs that would be necessary. Ha. I was so angry. Good April Fools! I’m glad I finished reading the post or I might have never come to this blog again.
Okay, so it was an April Fools’ Day joke. The problem is that there are entirely too many people who get puppies and then a few years later decide that the dog no longer matches their lifestyle. There are way too many dogs (or other pets) dumped or left at an animal shelter (and later euthanized) by inhumane humans. While others may believe this to have been a good joke, those who truly care about their pets should find it a repulsive thought.

I thought you had gone crazy and was about to blast you for saying your dogs “didn’t fit your lifestyle anymore”. I cleaned up middle of the night poop from my 13+ year old blind terrier (with Cushings and heart problems) just last night Wasn’t fun, but it wouldn’t make me want to give her up either. Great April fools joke, but it made me angry at first:) You got me!
OMG… Saw it at the 8 April and therefor i have no idea off a April “fun” I was almost clear to take the plane from Denmark to US to relieve these beautiful dogies from so pour owners who have animals as a give away and for poor reasons as hair and accidents, WOOW i was glad to read all the other readers who saw this one at the first of April, i love Doxies but was willing to take boat just so they not vere in the live of so poor owners..
