If you follow me on Instagram, you've already been subjected to hefty amount of greek yogurt pictures over the past couple of years. I am a big, big fan of greek yogurt. It's one of my go-to quick breakfast favorites, and I use it often in baking or in soup (instead of sour cream). As with anything you eat often, sometimes it can get boring. Having options to change up the flavor is a must. Here are a few of my personal favorites.1. Banana Bread Greek Yogurt:
You'll need one ripe banana, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 7 oz. greek yogurt (one small container), and a few walnuts or banana chips. Mash up the banana and stir into the yogurt. Stir in the extract, and top with nuts or banana chips. This one is awesome for breakfast.2. Chocolate Pudding Greek Yogurt:
You'll need 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons instant chocolate pudding and 7 oz. greek yogurt. Stir together. Stir well; you don't want any clumps of powder. This one is probably my favorite because as you stir, the yogurt will begin to thicken—like chocolate mousse. Top with fresh fruit. I personally think this makes a better afternoon snack or light dessert than a breakfast because it feels so decadent, even though it's pretty healthy. You could also freeze this and have a really great frozen yogurt treat!
3. Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt:
This one is another almost dessert. I first saw cookie dough greek yogurt here. To make this, you'll need 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter, 1 tablespoon honey, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a few mini chocolate chips. Mix together and enjoy this treat!
4. Lemon Meringue Greek Yogurt:
I discovered this combination last week while making Citrus Tarts. To make lemon meringue greek yogurt, you'll need 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon curd (homemade or store bought is fine) and 7 oz. greek yogurt. Stir together and top with granola. I love this for breakfast because the citrus really wakes you up. Yum!
What about you? Do you have any favorite ways to enjoy greek yogurt? xo. Emma

Yum the banana bread yoghurt sounds delish, anything with banana chips is always good in my book. And I love the cookie dough one as well, may have to give that a go. I normally just eat my yoghurt with granola, but I agree it’s nice to change things up. Thanks for the ideas 🙂

The lemon curd one sounds perfect. I’m REALLY not a fan of plain Greek yogurt, but I wish I was because of the health benefits. These look like just the thing!
When it’s berry season my fave is yogurt with honey, a mix of berries, and a simple granola. I could eat that three meals a day. Another tasty treat is really good, ripe pineapple, honey and yogurt – pina colada for breakfast!
Mmm the chocolate & cookie dough ones look divine!!

What yogurt brand do you usually use? I’m always so overwhelmed when I get to the cold section I never know which one is the best for me!
I do love greek yoghurt but I don’t buy it very often due to the whole acid whey by-product environmental issue… hopefully they’ll come up with a solution for it soon so I can start enjoying it guilt-free!!
these sound so delish, not sure I could choose a fave though they all look so good!

Yumm! Definitely going to try the lemon curd one soon. We chop up and freeze bananas that get overripe. Then, for a quick breakfast, we pop them in the blender with Greek yoghurt and a spoonful of peanut butter. So good and still healthy!
mmmm…. delicious! I love my Greek yogurt with banana and cinnamon but I’m definitely going to try that Chocolate Pudding Greek Yogurt!

I pretty much always use plain greek yogurt now instead of sour cream for cooking, but I never thought to stir in chocolate pudding mix. That sounds amazing! I’ve got to explore this food more – it seems like a wonder food to me!
Great idea! I’ll try all 4 of them soon.
WOW! I wish <3

I love greek yogurt! These ideas are awesome. Gotta try the cookie dough one 🙂
Fabulous for us watching the waistline but need something sweet! Pinning!!
Delicious ideas!! I love Greek yogurt 🙂
I just made up a new favorite way to make greek yogurt the other day- it is SO GOOD! Mix 1 cup of greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 packet of all natural stevia- SO GOOD!!! It’s like chocolate mousse but healthy. I’ve also tried adding a serving of PB2 into the mix for a low calorie peanut butter chocolate flavor!!!
Anyway love this post! 🙂
~Allison~
Could u share what brand of Greek yoghurt u use please ?
This was a great post. I hate pre mixed ingredients in greek yogurt. Something about fake chocolate and brown pineapple that just turns me off! I always go for vanilla, honey, or coconut. But I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like boring. Fresh mix ins are a perfect solution.
Nice post!

HAD to try the cookie dough greek yogurt for breakfast this morning. (Hey, peanut butter for some extra protein, right? And chocolate for some extra….well, chocolate!)
It was sooo good! Thanks for sharing these great recipes!
My fav greek yogurt recipe before this post was brown sugar, crushed up pretzels, and strawberries – delish!
These look so yummy! I am trying to eat Greek yogurt everyday and these recipes will certainly motivate me! I also think the kids will love them which is a huge bonus! Can’t wait to try them out, thanks so much for sharing!! Lindsey
Great recipes! I try to have greek yoghurt every morning on top of my daily fruit salad, topped with honey and a tiny bit of granola.
Love love love this blog!
What a fantastic post! Always looking for more ways to get more protein into my diet (and eventually getting tired of just eating the yogurt on its own) and love that so many of them can be swaps for unhealthy desserts!
These look delicious! Can’t wait to the lemon meringue one! Think it will definitely brighten up a grey spring morning!
http://chateauxdansleciel.blogspot.co.uk/
These are such terrific ideas! I’ve been trying to enjoy Greek yogurt forever, and I have a psychotic affinity for lemon curd, so it’s a win-win. Thanks, guys!
These are great ones! We also use to eat it with honey & walnuts. The one I like the most, is with sweet cherry & syrup. It’s a traditional, homemade sweet a bit like jam.
I love you girls!!!!!! Iam from greece ,definitly our ´´γιαουρτί´ Is the best!!!!! Very interesting ways of tasting it .Thanks for the idea!!!
We have the best yogurt! you should come to my country to taste the REAL greek yogurt!

Oatmeal is one the best foods to put a dollop of greek yogurt in! I make plain oatmeal (use either water or milk or non-dairy milk of choice), yogurt and either honey or maple syrup. Recently I discovered adding just a 1 teaspoon of dark cocoa powder to the oatmeal makes for a satisfying evening treat! Yes, I usually eat oatmeal in the evening but it’s a great food to fill me up.
(Found your post via bloglovin’s weekly round-up e-mail.)
These ideas will help put me on the road to the pounds I intend to lose. Thank you!
The lemon meringue is a great onee!! Thanks for the ideas!

Yum! I bought yogurt maker recently and am in love with it! I eat yogurt all the time now, so any excuse to eat more sounds good!
So happy to have come across this posting! I usually add some Greek yogurt to my fruit smoothie but love the idea to add some things to it instead of just the fruit flavored yogurt. When I make banana bread I add some mini chocolate chips, I think I’ll add those in place of the nuts! 😉 thanks for these wonderful ideas!
Yum! I’m going to try them all
thanks for sharing
xo
Whow its GREAT!!!!
Omg, I am salivating just looking at these! (Is that tmi?) I love Greek yogurt but totally do the same thing every morning (yogurt, honey, peaches). Will definitely have to try these! Thanks!
I have been bored with Greek yogurt for awhile after eating it almost every morning for a couple of years. I’ll try these immediately!
I have a serious sweet tooth, and I practically can’t end my day without something sweet. Thanks for the excellent alternatives to Ben & Jerry’s.
Savoring the chocolate pudding greek yogurt now – so yummy! Can’t wait to try the other variations. Breakfast just got a lot less dull!
These look incredible. I will definitely be trying these as soon as possible!
I love your blog by the way :))

I had a thought last night, could I make instant pudding using nonfat plain Greek yogurt. Just did a search and found your recipe ideas. So glad I searched and going to make some chocolate fudge pudding today. Thank you.
The cookie dough is my favorite. I usually add a splash of vanilla extract to mine and instead of honey I sweeten it with a little Truvia and stir in a tablespoon of sliced almonds for extra crunch!
