hello there. so, i spent lot of time crafting this weekend (some of it just-for-fun). here is another little project i created. it’s a handmade corsage. i wanted to channel a girly style and maybe something these girls would wear…
here’s what i came up with. it’s crocheted and hand stitched. the petals are made from a repurposed t-shirt.
& a cute little button closure on the back.
and i adore these beautiful new paintings by matte stephens.

Jeremy is leaving Wednesday (for a whole month… oh my) and I am thinking about getting a couple tattoo sessions while he’s away. I’m gonna get original art (of course), but here are a few that are inspiring me. Katie’s pretty feather…

I want desperately to get something on my inner wrist. Something having to do with my beautiful, magically amazing kids, Lilly 5 and Thomas aka Monkey who turns 1 on Halloween. I was thinking of having Lilly write her name and Thomas and draw a flower or butterfly or heart or something. She is very artisitic and I think this is what I’m going to do. I also had a friend get her kids dates of birth like this: 100304 and 103108 on her wrists.

It’s a great idea to do it when Jeremy is away because you can look forward to it, and then look forward to showing him once he returns! <3
