The holiday shopping season is in full swing! Although the holiday season is about much more than gifts, it is fun to make or buy your loved ones something that will make them smile. In case you have any food enthusiasts in your life, here are a few food/cookbook suggestions. We have a few classic/basic cookbooks, great for anyone just getting into kitchen experiments (8 and 9). There are a few cookbooks that cater to more natural or whole grain baking and cooking (4, 5 and 6). A couple of our suggestions are not cookbooks but rather, what I like to call, food literature (1 and 3). If your loved one is a baker and seems to already have every cook book you might try these (2 and 10). And number 7 is actually on my wishlist, a seasonal cookbook by two awesome bloggers/food photographers that I admire. xo. Emma

Adding this just for fun, because it’s what I want for Christmas!
After a recent trip to Japan, I’ve become obsessed with making real ramen, not top ramen from a bag. It’s an intense process which is probably why no one really does it, but ohmygosh is it worth it!!
you’ve chosen some of the best. i really loved super natural every day 🙂 yum!
I love Micahel Pollan’s books, so I’ll have to check that out! I’ve read excerpts of Gwyneth’s book, but it seems really basic to me, and nothing I couldn’t find online.
Thank you for the suggestions loves! One of my favorite gifts to give is a healthy cookbook (preferably vegan/vegetarian) and a gift card to a health food store to shop =) I’ve wanted to get the one by Gwyneth Paltrow, looks awesome! <3

I love Gwyneth Paltrow’s book! And I’ve been wanting to get the Four & Twenty Blackbirds Pie Book. Pie is my weakness, so I have a feeling I’d get a lot of use out of that one 🙂
I love cookbooks. I probably read and own more cookbooks than I do regular books. My favorites are “Dinner, A Love Story,” “Smitten Kitchen,” and “Homemade with Love”. All women are such powerful and unique writers and their recipes never fail me!

Ah! I just realized that I need all of these!
Great list! I’ve given Super Natural as a gift to rave reviews and heard great things about It’s All Good- it’s on my wishlist along with Julia Child, mais oui!
My husband works at Pike Place Fish in Seattle, and they just wrote a seafood cookbook using ALL sustainable seafood. Even though I’m biased (clearly), I can honestly say that I have eaten everything in this cookbook and it’s amazing! It seriously is such a great book, and I just wanted to add it to this list. Check it out!
The Gwyneth Paltrow book is fantastic – some really fabulous and unexpected recipes.
oooh I would LOVE that Bountiful book myself…. putting it on my xmas list…. xox
