I love daisies because before my boyfriend asked me out we had been throwing daisies at each other on this big field, and when I got home one of the daisies was stuck to me, so I pressed it in a book. We’re still going out a year later (:
daisies are, and always have been, my favourite flower. and even though i like the gerbera daisies, my fave are the natural ones (that almost look like weeds-or ARE weeds…hmmm) especially the ones found along the highways on the way to the Rocky Mountains. for my wedding, it was a daisy flower theme and i had a bouquet of cascading daisies. haha, i love them!
i’m making that same crochet flower blanket. it’s taking me forever. i don’t mind the crocheting part but i’m not looking forward to the finishing part. yuck. wish someone would finish it for me. 🙂
I love daisies! I work in a flower shop, and a couple weeks ago, this guy came in to get his girlfriend flowers. He told me he wanted a “stupid amount of daisies!” He ended up buying 6 bunches, & having them wrapped all together. I wish I could have seen his girlfriends face!
