Hey, guys! Happy Sunday! I wanted to share kind of a random scrapbook project I made this week, just for fun!
As many of you have noticed, I haven’t scrapbooked for a bit. Honestly, it’s been almost a year since my stuff has been in boxes (yes, a lot of my crafty stuff is STILL in boxes), and I’ve been so busy with other projects I haven’t given it much thought.
With that said, we made a lot of really special memories this year, so I wanted to try a new way of quickly printing them out and throwing them into a little photo album. This week I’ve been printing out a ton of photos from my iPhone using this really cute novelty printer. It prints your iPhone photos onto Instax film. Because as much as I LOVE my Instax camera, I hardly ever think to carry it around, especially during travel. I actually really only use it during nighttime parties (party pix vibes!)
So basically, you sync your smartphone with this little printer and you can print out any photos from your phone onto Instax film (the exact same film you use in the Instax camera). It comes in rainbow too.
So I printed out a bunch of random memories from this past year and a half. Then I threw them all into this cute pink Instax photo album. I used a few stickers and embellishments that came from Happy Mail and Messy Box as well.
Here’s a few pics of my finished album!
It was really fun and REALLY easy to put together in one afternoon. However, I will say that the quality is not NEARLY as good as what I’m used to (with our Canon printers). I think it’s OK since this is a novelty printer, and I have my photos saved/printed other places. It’s basically just like an instant photo, imperfect in sort of a cool/artsy way.
I always love getting an album done… even when it’s a little mini one like this! It’ll be on my coffee table if anyone wants to see it! 😉
Oh! And I had some extra film, so I just kept printing more and more fun/random photos and displayed them in this little basket in my living room. Feels REALLY GOOD to be filling out our home with memories and personal details.
Have a great Sunday my friends! xx- Elsie

Wow, that sounds like an awesome idea!
This is cute! But I think I’m also more obsessed with the quality of photos I get from my Canon camera so I probably won’t end up doing this. They should make a mini Canon printer! Wait, maybe they have those.
This is such a cute idea! As great as it is to share smartphone photos on Instagram, it’s also so satisfying to have a private, physical collection of personal pictures to share at home. 🙂
What a great idea! I’m gonna have to get myself a polaroid printer and photo album! Thanks for sharing, Elsie! 🙂
I need everything in this post, really EVERYTHING!!
Love your blog, call me your biggest fan!
I hard this printer! It can be so addicting to keep printing more photos just because it’s so easy and fun to watch them print out! A little photo album is a great idea 🙂 So cute for a coffee table.
I’ve always wanted one of those cool pinters, and the results look amazing!

That’s awesome! I had an instax but it fell on the ground and broke! 🙁
I was pretty sad and didn’t plan to buy a new one so soon. But this I think this is even better. When I am travelling or just hanging out with some friends I usually bring my instax AND my DSLR and it was too much cameras to care about.
This would solve this problem 🙂

That polaroid printer is such a good invention. Nice to be able to print all you memories on the go. I only think it’s a bit expensive!
LOVE this! I’ve had my instax for 5 years and hardly ever use it these days due to the multiple cameras I try to use on a weekly basis! I might have to look into this handy little printer 🙂
Hi! Lisie 🙂 , I really loved this post, I’ve been thinking about to buy this printer for a while, and now you made easier my dessision (I think so jaja). So thanks for share. Just one thing, could you show How it works? like a little review as you did with your record on snapchat? I’ll really appreciate it (I guess everyone here).
xoxo.
This is sooo cute!
