I know we’re always saying how excited we are, but really … WE’RE SO EXCITED!! After over a year of hard work, we get to introduce our newest app and design companion to A Color Story: A Design Kit! It comes out this Friday.
We set out to create a fun, easy-to-use design app for your phone. We wanted to make it easy to add flourishes to photos or give your stories a little something extra. We’ll talk all about the full features and show you a bunch of examples Friday. For now, here’s a little preview:

I’m pretty excited about this one. I’m old school (and just plain old) and still use Adobe Illustrator, and sometimes Adobe Spark, but this is going to be amazing!

Congratulations!! This looks so amazing!! I can’t wait to download it on Friday 🙂 My husband and I produced an iPhone game a few years back, so I know how much work really goes into an app like this – all the testing, uploading screenshots, translations, etc. Enjoy every minute of the launch, I hope it gets a feature!

I’ve tried using the app and love it! But…. when I want to open A Color Story, after doing my editing here, it says “Important Requires A Color Story 2.0 or newer to work. I click Got It! and nothing happens. The circle goes round and round. Now going on 5 minutes. So I have had to delete the App (twice) and start over. I just won’t click A Color Story from here, but rather, go to the separate app each time. Has this been a bug?
Hi Libby! This is a little bug, thank you for letting us know! If you close out of the app and restart it you won’t see that notification again. If you delete the app it will continue to show up though as it reinstalls but just closing out should fix it. So glad you’re loving the app and thanks again for bringing this to our attention!
Claire: In answer to your reply to me…that’s the problem. I can’t close out of the app in any way! It spins and spins for, as I say, a full 5 minutes until I shut the app on my home button.
And, when I just hit to reply to your comment, I lost your comment so am leaving a new one. Very confusing indeed.
