I know we're already deep into February, but I promised myself that this year I wouldn't miss a month of sharing our monthly favorites. It's good for us to step back and celebrate all of the hard work that goes into A Beautiful Mess. Sometimes we get so lost in the hustle that we forget to step back and enjoy what we've created. Here are some of our favorites, along with the most viewed and most pinned posts of the past month!
January was a delicious month. A few of my personal favorite recipes were Homemade English Muffins, Ginger and Lime Carrot Soup, Angel Food Cake, Garlic and Kale Baked Gnocchi, Squid Ink Pasta and Snickerdoodle Waffles. 
We shared some treats (as always) and some healthy stuff too! Juicing 101 + Warm Brussels Sprout Salad
We shared some practical stuff- 10 tax deduction tips for small business owners and tips for organizing and storing photos. 
I shared a fresh twist on my favorite cocktail and I shared my tips for how to stock a bar cart on a budget of $50 and beyond! 
These DIY speaker boxes are so pretty and chic. And we all loved Mandi's post on building and organizing a corner shelving system.

Laura had an amazing first month as a staff writer and shared her studded tree stump side table, awesome gold moon wall, galaxy face art, 3 easy 30 minute art projects and this paint dipped balsa wood candle holder. 
I made our first family scrapbook. It was a great experience and I shared my tips for new scrapbookers. I'm already planning our next book!

DIY Concrete Counter Tops (definitely the scariest DIY we've ever tried, but we are IN LOVE with the result… not to mention the thousands of dollars we saved).
