Madewell Event in Nashville

Madewell Madewell Hi, friends! If you’re in the Nashville area, I want to invite you to come hang out with us at Madewell this Thursday night, December 15th from 6-8pm.

I am cohosting this event with McKel from Nutrition Stripped. We’ll have treats, shopping and a free necklace DIY hosted by me!! I’m really looking forward to this because it’s a chance to chat and connect with new faces here in Nashville.

So don’t be shy, come say hello!! You can see more details on their Facebook invite here.

Madewell *Everything we are wearing is c/o Madewell

See you soon! xoxo! Elsie

  • Leave it to you two to get THE most boring outfits for free from madewell. I’m sure you guys won’t let this post because it’s not sucking up but if given the opportunity for TWO entire outfits from a wonderful store such as madewell, you’d think you wouldn’t choose the most uncreative choices.

  • I’m legitimately confused by that person’s comment. You both look adorable, and if you’re familiar with Madewell’s brand, I’m not sure what other type of outfit choices you guys would make? Not trying to start a comment war, but I literally can’t comprehend, haha. Keep on keepin’ on (and dressing however YOU LIKE because…what?). <3

  • Yowza!

In case it matters, I love you guys and think you are the absolute opposite of boring!

  • Always glad to know of fun things to do in Nashville. I say, if the jeans make you feel like a million bucks, then jeans it is. We all have our favorites.!

  • lol I’m glad you let this comment go through Elsie, it’s so perplexing. I had to do a double take when I saw that everything you girls were wearing was Madewell because I was thinking it was just your typical fun, eclectic wardrobe staples! Love how even head to toe in one store your style still takes the lead!

  • For the record, guys, THIS is why we don’t usually publish negative comments. It just starts a whole debate and derails the point of why we posted in the first place. 🙂 It’s NOT because we can’t handle a little criticism. Trust me, after almost 10 years of blogging- I can handle more than you think!

Honestly, it really really does not bother me if someone calls one of my outfits boring. But it kind of sucks because what about all the other people who like the outfit, or who are curious about it. It kind of creates weird vibes & promotes insecurity & defensiveness when we publish comments like these.

    That’s all…. :)) Carry on.
    xx- Elsie

  • I wish this meet up had happened a month ago! Just being greedy but such a huge fan of you guys that the first trip I took after moving to USA was to Nashville (over thanksgiving). The husband was just surprised that I chose the land of country music but I mapped out where to go all based on your posts and kept one eye out to spot one of you (though I don’t know if I would have been able to come say hi (deep down always a shy person))!! Oh well, we had a great time in Nashville and it sure is an amazing city! Hope to meet you guys in austin some day soon!!

  • Now that I’ve actually read the text, silly me! But like Emma, consider the silver/grey! I liked it when I thought it was you. Haha.
I’m not near Nashville so reading the details about an event I can’t go to is a teeny tiny bummer. But yay for writing books and crafts and nice clothes!
