Just wanted to let you all know what we'll be reading next month in the ABM Book Club so you can get your copy now. Our awesome copy editor, Sarah, will be moderating, and she has chosen All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. I'm stoked because I haven't read a Doerr book (or short story collection) since college. So, we hope you all will join us in March for that.
Confession: I haven't gotten to start the February book yet. I know! I can't believe the month is already half gone! Luckily I've heard it's a pretty quick read, but I am feeling a little behind, so I'm spending the rest of the weekend snuggled up with some tea and Eleanor & Park. -Emma

Iยดm in! All the lights we cannot see havent been translated into swedish yet, so I probably not going to finish it in time, struggling a little bit with the english version, but Iยดll do my best and it seems to be such a good book!
I love this book!

This is the last book I read and I LOVED it!
I just started this book. I’m only 70 or so pages in…and I’m hooked. ๐
I agree with Emma, I’m way behind on my leisure reading but all the more to look forward to. Happy Sunday ๐
I’ll join in! I was supposed to read this last fall and never finished. Have to finish this long book I’m trudging through first though ?
Yes! Yes! Yes!!! I’ve been wanting to read this for a while but have been putting it off!
Such a great book. It will stick with you! Not a short story collection, though – it’s a novel. Excited to read the discussion!
Would love to read it! http://www.hannamarielei.com

I am so excited. Have this book in my to read section in Goodreads… Very happy indeed.
I’ve been wanting to read this one! I put it on hold at the library a couple of weeks ago and am 1100th in line on the hold list!! Apparently everyone else wants to read it, too…
I am listening to this book right now on tape. It’s great so far. I’m about half way through it. It’s extremely popular right now. I love having a great book on road trips.

I read this recently. Absolutely lovely book.
I am totally a “judge a book by the cover….and title” kind of girl, and I am totally intruiged by this one. I might just have to add it to my pile of books to read.
If you’re interested, on my blog I’ve been doing short little summary/reviews of all the books I’m reading this year. Feel free to check them out on my “ink” page!

You just have to start Eleanor and Park. Once you do you won’t be able to stop.
I pretty curious to read it! ๐ Thanks for the tip!

I’m in the middle of this book right now, amazing! I will have to follow along and see what others think. I’m sure you will love it!

Just downloaded it! The description on Amazon is definitely intriguing — can’t wait for the discussion! ๐
Always, Anita
This book is beautifully written and heartrending. I’ve been to Saint-Malo, where the story takes place, and the author does a magnificent job of mapping the lay of the land there too. Excellent choice!
I have been wanting to read this book! ๐

I read this book a few weeks ago- I’m also a “judge-a-book-by-it’s-cover” person (and a librarian, I know, awful right?), and it was definitely worth it! What an amazing book. ALTHOUGH, why does every great book have to have a bittersweet ending? I always wonder whether this makes the book good, like I wouldn’t enjoy it as much if it was a fairy-tale ending, or if it would still be as good or better with one? Anyways, I’ve moved on to “The Goldfinch” and am forcing myself to read it all the way through just to find out what happens. Don’t pick it next! This choice is a wonderful one. =)
I read this last yearโit was wonderful, both in story and in the incredible writing.
It won’t take you long, it was so so good. I didn’t want it to end.
Question. With this book club, do you have actual discussions set up or is it more a casual let’s all read this together at our own pace thing? Just wondering because I’d love to join a book club and just haven’t found one yet!

Hi, how do I join your book club?
Hi Renee! All you have to do is read the book sometime during the month of February, and then join in on the discussion at the end of the month. We will do a blog post, and you can share your input through the comments. ๐ -Jacki
Hi! It’s very casual. You can read the book anytime during the month of February and then join in on the discussion post at the end of the month. ๐ -Jacki

Yay! I LOVED this book so much. Best book I’ve read so far this year
My mother, who only ever reads career coach books anymore, recently texted me that she had read a really good book and she had left it on her kitchen table for me. I haven’t started it yet, but if it caught her attention, it must be good.
I really enjoyed this book.
I’m pretty smitten with your bookclub series. I’m an elementary school librarian with a master’s in contemporary literature. Have you ever thought about developing content geared towards children’s literature?
Thanks for all that you do,
Gray
