I’d take that house, but only if the woman standing next to the washer came with it to do our laundry. 🙂

Hi Elsie,
You do not know me but I have been an avid follower for awhile now! You fill me with more inspiration than anyone else! I went to a local Kmart here in St. Louis and I went to the Christmas clearanace aisle (75% off). So many items in the aisle reminded me of you. Again, I do not know you, but your style was screamin’ in that aisle. Anyway, if you have the chance, you might visit one soon and check out the goodies.
🙂
Holy cow! That picture of that vintage dish collection is gorgeous!!
Hey! I actually HAVE the set of little flower bowls she is putting into the hutch in the 2nd picture! I think I got them in a box of misc. I bought at an auction for $1.
And we just finished painting our kitchen Bazooka Bubble Gum pink and turquoise….when we get some extra $$, we’re putting in the black/white checkerboard floor it so desperately wants to have to make it perfect.
forget what i just said, you can still buy them: http://www.lojamelissa.com.br/colecao/love-pirates/vivienne-westwood-anglomania-melissa-lady-dragon-heart-ii/#lilas-tree
Love that green chair > My favourite colour all time!!!
such fun vintage
love the vintage luggage, and those fabulous shoes next to them! thanks for sharing 🙂
Your third photo comes from here: http://www.plan59.com/av/av046.htm, I recognised it because it’s also one of my favourites 😉 I’m sure you’d love the images on http://www.plan59.com/, they’re so wonderfully retro 🙂
I have to tell you I had that EXACT pink suitcase when I was about 13 years old (1966). I used it for many years- it was always easy to find. Eventually it did fall apart so I am afraid it no long exists. What a blast from the past to see it.
I’m buying my prom dress from that etsy shop! : )
Love the shoes and socks in #7!!!

Hello! I would really love to have/buy a painting, if you would like to paint a swedish girl!
I don’t got your point. But thank you all the same.
This has been very helpful understanding a lot of things. I’m sure a lot of other people will agree with me.
I like these articles , democratic countries formulate policies are both team and the interests of the people of power, http://www.jerseysky.com , I like the western and northern state policy.

I collect pie birds! Started many years ago and I have an awesome growing collection thanks to my brother who buys me one every Christmas!
so nice. thank u for sharing.
This sounds utterly wonderful. I have heard of Souvenier Press before but may have to go and find out more as I have heard they do some wonderful classics. I love the idea of Aunts in France. Great post Elaine!
I really dig the telephone design. I have to admit that i share your taste. Today’s fashion, or haute couture, is mostly black and white. I like the vivid colors of the design.
A lot of us dream of a well organized house and with lovely wall paints that keep the interior very alive. Every photo you posted is great. And oh, I love that yellow phone, by the way. =)
Were you able to achieve your dream house concept, Elsie? With your creativity and unique craft, you’ll be able to make this dream turn into reality. And that’s also what we should do if we want to get what we want.
Ah… So you like vintage and retro stuff in your house. I like ’em too! The orange wall in the 5th photo is fantastic. There seems to be two ghosts roaming around. But they’re two cute ghosts, and they’re not scary at all, hehe!
I like your idea of your dream house. The vintage and retro inspirations are adorable. I hope you make your dream house come true.
