I'm so happy to share this just-for-fun new years challenge! Project ReStyle is a group created by Miss Rachel and myself. The goal is to ReStyle damaged, unwanted or unusable goods into fresh, beautiful pieces! We're going to make fashion, home decor and pretty things. You're invited to join us! It's fun, it's free and it encourages green living. We'll be blogging about our projects (and sharing guest artists and participants work too!) all year in 2011. Read Details Here! Please pass on the project… we are doing this just for fun to encourage ReStyling within the blogging community. I'm so excited for January 1st. XO and Happy Monday! Elsie

Ah, a project my thrifty soul can stand behind 100%! Count me in, I’ll spread the word!
Hi Elsie! I am a brand new reader and would LOVE to participate in Project ReStyle! I’d love to reupholster one of my beat-up couches, but think that might be overly ambitious (seeing as how I don’t know how to sew). I’ll start with jewelry I think, OR clutch purses. Those are probably more realistic!
Project ReStyle is an awesome compliment to my new 2011 blog entitled “Amanda’s Project 26 27 28 29”. Hee hee!
I can’t wait to launch it, and along with it: the restyling part of my creative brain!
Love to jump aboard! π
love love love,

I LOVE this! I’ll definitely pass this along, and try my hand at some ReStyling projects myself π Thanks for the constant source of inspiration here!

This is MY goal – how did you know? I’m moving with my husband and two kids 1000 miles away and instead of hitting Ikea, I’ve decided to go back to my repurposing roots and MAKE the pieces for my new home that I love.
Thank you for this and thanks for making it free guys!
LOVE this! it’s one of the reason i love selling vintage. i re-vamp it and it gets another loving home and not end up in a dumpster or used as rags!
How very cool!! I love, love this idea and can’t wait to see more. Its green, it can be vintage (though, not necessarily), its creative, and sounds like so much fun! Also, loving that it crosses many different creative mediums, so we’ll see so many different ideas and sources of inspiration. Way to rock it, Elsie! :>
Can’t wait to see what you ladies come up with : )
This is such an awesome idea! Looking forward to seeing what amazing things people come up with! π I will definitely spread the word!
