Love it!
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you. You’ve been such an inspiration to me! I started blogging a month ago and I can only dream of having a blog as cute and as cool as yours. It’s really inspiring, not just your blog, but your art as well.
I check in everyday to see what you have posted. The 24 hour party? Genius! It was so much fun!
If I lived in the States, I would probably live broke, buying all your paintings and art.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi.
Love out,
Isabel
elsie, love the glasses! thanks for sharing so much of your inspiration with us!
ditto to Isabel’s post…so glad I stumbled upon your blog, finding endless inspiration here!
and you MUST visit Japan – I lived there for 2 yrs when I graduated college and as the QUEEN OF CUTE and a lover of sushi, I think you would absolutely love it 🙂 all the Japanese craft supplies & fashion you can handle!

I am REALLY excited to see the modified roller skates! Seriously, I am. I am a roller skating QUEEEEEEN! <3 Have you ever been to a roller derby bout?! They are so much fun to watch!
Elsie, have you ever read “Rainbow Goblins” by Ul De Rico? It was my favorite book as a child (and now!) and I think you would love it! Let me know!
cute picture!
and huge dittos to all of the “you’re so inspiring” comments.
You always cheer me up Elsie!
You are my number one inspiration. I don’t always have the time to comment but I want you to know that I read every post and that it always make go WOOOOOOOOW in one way or another. It really makes my day to visit your blog. I am so very happy I found it!!!
I was thrilled to discover that you are working on a children’s book. I’ve been working on a children’s book for almost two years now and the reason I got started in the first place was because I discovered your blog and it made me want to create again (I have a “failed” art career behind me). Now I have a “proper job” so I don’t feel the pressure to do this for a living, although of course I hope to! Anyway, I really look forward to your book, I am sure it will be fantastic! When I finish my book you’ll be the first person to receive a copy!
Thank you for all the inspiration!
great answers, dear and oh, you’re beautiful :–D
xo
im well aware that we’re all stealing isobel’s post (well put!) but she’s right; not only is your blog fun to read, it provides hours of entertainment through the inspiration you give to go out and make our own stuff. my friend just had a heart operation and i spent all day making her a get well soon card inspired by things i had seen on your blog. it was fun for me to make and i really hope it cheers her up. thanks a lot! x
Thanks for filling it out Elsie! Can’t wait to see what those roller skates look like, you should totally skste down Commercial. I seem to remember this guy that at about 12am would ride his bike down Commercial it was always funny to see when walkin’ home after a show at Lindbergs. xx

Elsie, just wanted to let you know that I love the picture of you and your grandma! I feel my grandma (whom I call Nanny) and I are soulmates as well. She passed away last week and it’s been really hard losing my best friend but seeing pictures like this remind me of all our good times as well!
