Oui Fresh Beauty Box — August Unboxing

Believe it or not, it’s the last full month of summer (eek!) and we wanted to make sure this box left everyone feeling fresh faced and glowing! Elixir Lip Gloss in ‘Trust’ by Vapour Beauty — value $25

Vapour is one of our collective favorites amongst the ABM and Oui Fresh staffs—they have a really broad range with very high quality and high performing products; this lip gloss is definitely a reflection of those attributes! The shade is a (more muted) sheer coral and it’s absolutely perfect for everyday wear—I can’t think of anyone this wouldn’t look gorgeous on. Fruit extracts in this formula give it a really nice fruity scent and it’s a slick but substantial (and in no way sticky) texture. You’ll want to put this one on right away (and wear it for a long, long time)!

Hydra Highlighter by NOTO Botanics — value $25

This highlighter is really lovely and is a subtle shimmer more than a “seen from space sparkle” that some highlighters can give. It’s that perfect amount of glow and pearlescence that when applied to your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, bridge of your nose, or as eyeshadow gives your face a little more dimension without a ton of makeup. You can even use it on legs, collarbones, shoulders, etc., if you want a little glow there as well. This product is called “Hydra” Highlighter because its made with ingredients that are healing, hydrating and soothing for your skin—like our favorites jojoba oil and shea butter, just to name a few. You can definitely use this product with confidence not only for its easy of use (and how beautiful of an effect it has), but for the nourishing effect it has on your skin!

Fantastic Face Wash by Ursa Major — value $5

What a duo! We love when we get to include multiple “steps” of a regimen in one box and you’re in for such a treat with this wash and tonic from our friends at Ursa Major. Starting with the wash, we know switching over to clean beauty can leave you missing “suds” in your soaps and washes. This wash gives the perfect lather but doesn’t strip your skin of its necessary oils. While gentle, it still exfoliates dead skin away and balances pH—two things that translate to clear, bright, happy skin! All those benefits, and it smells AMAZING. We posted an essential oil blend the other day on Instagram that was inspired by this product, that’s how good it is! Our favorite aromatherapy notes in this product include fir, vetiver, cedarwood, grapefruit, lime, and spearmint.

Essential Face Tonic by Ursa Major — value $4

This face tonic is a four-in-one powerhouse and is said to cleanse, exfoliate, soothe, and hydrate, all in a few spritzes—and it totally delivers! This size is perfect to travel with or keep in your purse when you need a major pick-me-up. I use it as a mid-day refresh if I’m running out to grab a few things and need a reset, but it definitely pairs so well with the Fantastic Face Wash as a way to make sure your skin is fully cleansed and exfoliated and seal all that goodness in. Everything from Ursa Major smells so fresh and clean! A lot of you have been asking to see this brand in the box for a long time now, so we’re so excited to feature them this month.

Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30 Facial Moisturizer by Josh Rosebrook — value $8

Don’t be fooled by these little envelopes—this might be the best moisturizing cream you’ll ever try! I got two uses out of each of mine and I am hooked. The silkiest texture and an instant feeling of hydration? Josh Rosebrook has absolutely nailed the day cream formula. We featured a chemical sunscreen a few months ago, and this SPF 30 is broad spectrum and a physical sunscreen (zinc), so you can try something new this time! As a sensitive skin person, I did not at all feel any of my typical burning sensations attributed to conventional sunscreens—just pure, hydrated, protected-from-the-sun bliss. I recommend following your Face Wash/Face Tonic from Ursa Major with this lotion for an absolutely incredible skincare experience (and after, some lip gloss and highlighter for the perfect glow)!
