Today, I’m sharing round two of our favorite room renovations. If you missed the first post, click here. It was one of our most popular roundups last year! And, since we love this category so much, we created a hashtag (#abmbeforeafter) so you can share your room before and afters with us on Instagram. Ready to see some of ours?Elsie replaced the old, blue carpet in her guest bathroom with bright white tile and gave the vanity some much needed love with a fresh coat of pink paint, gold hardware, and a new countertop.
It’s hard to believe this is the same den. Laura painted her fireplace white (along with the rest of the walls) to brighten the room before adding baby blue, gold, and blush pink accents.
Emma added a faux living wall to her home office and it turned out incredible. I love the mix of black, white, and green. Who wouldn’t want pretty greenery as a backdrop during the workday?
Here’s a little throwback for you. Sarah transformed a sky blue room (with one small window) into a bright and colorful nursery for her daughter, Imogen. One of the best things about using white paint is having the freedom to use as much color as you want when adding decor pieces.
Elsie stepped outside of her comfort zone when she decided to use hunter green paint and black appliances in this kitchen makeover. No regrets at all!
Since I work at our Springfield office, I can attest that our bathroom looked just as bad (if not worse) than the “before” photo above. Lol. Click here to see the full makeover—isn’t it stunning?
Sometimes you’ve got to go bold or go home. And in this case, Elsie chose “bold” with hot pink rose wallpaper for her dining room. So good!
Wondering how Mandi went from a room with bare walls to a cozy study filled with bookshelves? She made her own board and batten walls (!!!). Yep, that’s a DIY.
This wasn’t just any bedroom makeover—it was a surprise for Elsie and Emma’s niece, Penelope. They filmed her reaction (in the post) and it was so precious.
Elsie transformed her den from dark and gloomy to bright and cozy—a perfect spot for movie nights.
Emma incorporated lots of macrame, plants, shelves, and comfy bedding in her master bedroom makeover.
Laundry rooms are often overlooked, and left “as is,” but it’s amazing what a few shelves and storage baskets can do to help keep things organized. Bonus points if you make the room pretty with plants (real or faux) and a fresh coat of paint!
Renovating a bathroom on a budget? Add a painted stenciled design to the wall and replace the towel holders with a DIY option, like Laura did here.
This guest bedroom wasn’t anything special until Elsie turned it into a treehouse-themed room. The bed is amazing, isn’t it?
If you work from home, having an office that’s both functional and comfortable to work in is super important. Elsie’s office is exactly that! Make it an extra special space that keeps you feeling motivated and happy. And the more colorful, the better. 🙂
Happy renovating! xo. Jacki

these are stunning! I can’t believe Laura’s before on the den, that’s such a great transformation.
I like how strongly you can see the impact of white paint. all of the rooms look bigger and brighter just because of that.
I LOVE the blue sofa in the den! Where was it purchased?
