Welcome to our shop! A Beautiful MessWe have been waiting for a long time to write this post. Today our new shop is live and ABM products are real!!! We’re crazy excited. This project has been in the works for a very long time, and it’s a wonderful feeling to finally see it come to life. 

I want to tell you all about the new site. But first, here’s a look at a few of our new products that you’ve been patiently waiting for! 

Emoji stamps are here!www.shop.abeautifulmess.com:shop:stamps:emojisEmoji stamps. Launch day includes five new stamp sets. The Alpha Stamp is already my favorite basic stamp set, and I’ve been using it daily. I’m also obsessed with making patterns with The Florals set. The above card was made by layering the stripe dot from The Bow Stamp with the Emojis. (Inks will be in stock later this week!) 

Washi tape is here!We designed washi tape. I can’t choose a favorite yet. 

The best pens ever! A Beautiful MessHandwriting is a big part of my photo books. I picked my three most-used & most-loved pen weights for our first set of Messy Pens. I use extra fine the most for handwriting in small space and fine and medium for illustrations. They are completely safe for writing on your photos. 

New Lightroom presets by A Beautiful Mess www.shop.abeautifulmess.com:shop:actions:the-lightroom-collection We are still selling our popular Photoshop actions sets and have added a new member to the family—The Lightroom Collection. It features thirty presets for Adobe Lightroom! 

Pre-order Happy Mail!Last, but not least, Happy Mail! Happy Mail is a monthly stationery club. You can get $50 of super cute stationery delivered to your door for only $15 each month. It’s kind of a steal. We design and curate each pack to be a mix of traditional, quirky, and funny cards for all the characters in your life! 

So what now? Here’s what you can do on the new site today:

1. Shop, of course! Be sure to check out the ABM exclusives or see everything here. Our shop has many things that we designed, but also some of our favorite things that we’re carrying from other brands (like these adorable mini albums and handpicked greeting cards). 

2. Learn about Happy Mail (and be sure to watch our video!). You can pre-order now to make sure you reserve your spot! Each month there is a limited supply of Happy Mail packs, and they will not be restocked. 

3. Shop Classes and Actions (Many of you have been asking about them. They’re back! We’ll be announcing our upcoming class schedule soon.)

4. Sign up and become a registered user. We’re creating fun, exclusive content for our new newsletters that you will not want to miss! 

In the coming weeks we have lots of new products that will be slowly rolling out so be sure to bookmark the new shop. 

A quick word about 2015 planners! We know many of your are waiting to order your 2015 planner until you see ours! We’re excited, too, and promise that we will share photos the day our samples arrive in the mail (which will be soon, in the next few weeks). 2015 planners will be available to buy on Black Friday! There are three covers to choose from. 

Transitioning your previous A Beautiful Mess Shop account:
Because this shop site is on a whole new platform, you’ll need to set up a new account (or you can use a Studio Calico login, if you have one). But don’t worry. You still will have access to all your previous purchases. You should have an email in your inbox with instructions on how to get all that set up. It’s super simple. But if you didn’t receive the email or are having any trouble at all, please contact support.

Please ask us any questions you may have here in the comments, and we’ll respond to you! We know you’ll have lots of questions, and we’re here to help. If you have any support or technical questions related to your account, the best place to ask them is here.

  • Congratulations!! All of these products are fab. I can’t wait to scrapbook with the new inks, stamps, washi tape, etc. I just made a huge order of Instagram photos and it will be a perfect, fresh start to my next album to use these products!

    You both continue to amaze me with your ability to combine creative ideas with business savvy. Kudos to both of you and your entire team!

    this may have been answered already and i missed it (sorry if that is the case) but for the happy mail, if you do the 12 month commitment, are you billed monthly (if yes, when each month) and if no, is it one lump sum at the beginning that you pay?

  • I’m super excited about all the new products, but I think the lightroom collection may be one of my very favorites!
    I’ve been hoping for more of your presets, but I did buy the previous version, which was 10 of the presets in the lightoom collection.
    Any chance there’s a discount for people who already purchased the other set?

  • Love it! One question, though – how do the stamp kits work? I’m used to traditional rubber stamps that have their own wooden backs. How do I use these stamps? I’ve seen you using a clear piece of acrylic – is that something that will be available in the shop or with the stamp kit? 🙂

  • Hi Jessica, You’re going to love them! To use acrylic stamps you just need a stamping block (but if you don’t have one you can also use nearly any plastic surface, like your ink pad!). You just stick the acrylic stamp to the block and then use it like a regular stamp.
    I love them because they take up less storage space and they are more environmentally friendly to produce! 🙂 xx- Elsie

    Just a suggestion/request – Could you do a post here or some sort of intro package in your shop on what products you’d suggest for a beginner scrapbooker? Perhaps with a page example or two on how you could style your abm products in a photobook?

  • I’m so excited about this happy mail, but I have a huge nagging doubt. Because of my religious beliefs/culture, I don’t celebrate birthdays, Christmas or most traditional holidays, and I’m wondering how much of it will end up having to be thrown away on my end because it won’t be useful to me personally. I love writing cards and letters, anniversaries, thank yous and hellos and lots of just-because gifts, but I’m wondering if it’s wishful thinking to think that I will get enough usable things for my beliefs. I don’t expect to be catered to, since I know it’s not the norm, but since birthday cards are probably the most common, i wonder if there’s any insight that can be offered to help me decide if it will prove worth it on my end. Are they topical/seasonal (meaning, for instance, I can count on lots of Christmas type cards in December, etc)? Because that might help me manage when I do it, to get the most benefit. Thanks ?

  • Congratulation for the success! I have one question regarding the ALPHA STAMP SET, there is no information on how big a single letter is. Maybe you could put more pictures with other common objects that help to compare sizes. I think when buying on-line a lot of people (or is it only me? :/) are afraid on surprises regarding products that are after smaller or bigger than what thought.

    We do a little bit with holidays and seasons, but the box is very random. Like, for example I didn’t do any holiday cards this year because I know most people buy those in bulk. There is a birthday card every month. There are always one or two blank “all occasion” cards each month. Beyond that, it is random because our big theme is variety! Our vision is that subscribers will collect an epic stockpile of stationery over time. We fully know that it’s impossible for every single design/occasion to apply to every person, but since it’s such an amazing value (and surprises are fun!) we think most people will embrace the unpredictable nature of the club. 🙂

    So if it’s important to you that you like every piece in every kit I would suggest going month-to-month because each month we will show photos of all the pieces and a video where we talk through every piece in the package! 🙂

    Each stamp is 1 inch tall! 🙂 They’re bigger alphabet stamps, but not too big. Great for making titles!

    Good question! We wanted to carry these products, because we love them and noticed they weren’t available internationally. But because we’re buying them wholesale from Ban.do and not directly from their manufacturers like they do, it increases the cost. US customers can get goods cheaper directly from Ban.do.

    As someone living in Europe, it would be nice to have an idea how much shipping cost up front due to taxes and nother not so nice surprises when the the parcel arrives.
    I know it isn’t a small thing, but it would make a huge difference.
