I though it might be fun to share some peeks of favorite things around my home. vintage this and that, an orla kiely tablecloth turned bedroom curtain and some pretty patterns. it's feeling more like a home all the time! Next I'm gonna set up the guest bedroom.♥ feeling inspired and productive. What are your current projects? XO. elsie

  • Love the green wall color.

My current project? Renovating my kitchen (just tore out a half wall) and weatherizing the house (because it’s cold here in MO!).

  • Cute!!
My current project is to paint an decorate my new apartment. A lot needs to be done. I’m especcially looking forward to doing my craftstudio!

  • Everything’s so pretty! I especially love the curtains. I’m currently working on cleaning up around the house (mainly my room), and I’m still trying to decorate my room and my bathroom a bit more..

  • Current project is completing my bedroom. I have antique pieces such as my bedframe, dresser, and wing back chair. The room has white linen with light blue accents. I need to find some things to put on the walls… So much potential!

  • Love the bags! You’re a blogging maniac today. Today is my computer work day and I keep seeing your little bog in my reader -YAY work distractions!

I’m very inspired to get handmade gifts done, but what I really want to work on is fixing up some old furniture I have laying around. They’re calling me.

  • Hey girl,
I’m doing a Christmas card swap at my blog and would love to have you join in 🙂

  • My current project is my studio space, hoping to have it all put together by the end of the year. I’m hand painting a design on the top of a 1960’s teachers desk I picked up for $5! I love your table cloth turned curtain, lovely pattern. I think I have the same owl trivet!

  • Current project? Actually buy a house so I can put pretty things in it. Loving the punchy colours in your place. 🙂

  • The doe cookie jar is way too adorable! I love her sweet closed eyes and lashes! My current project is to get cracking on the rest of my handmade gifts! My brother & sister’s birthday is Friday, busy busy!
    xoxo Shannon

  • oooOOOoo That blue and olive tank is making me miss summer!! I have been in a productive rut, maybe I’ll just look at all the things (x-mas gift/card making, closet organizing, and vintage mending) I have to do as pretty patterns instead of work! ♥

  • my current project is trying to leave uni to start up an online business in crafts…i emailed you about it :)hope you don’t mind.

I wish I would have the time to be more creative at the moment…but all of the time I could spend on that goes into crazy university-work 😉 but somehow I like it…
Have lots of fun decorating the guest room and put lots of love in it so your guests will notice and feel good 🙂

  • Everything is so perfect and lovely! I love that mustard blouse/dress…its so pretty!! I wish I could see your house, I bet it all looks amaaazing! x

  • Your house looks like my dream place, somewhere featured on decor8, or apartment therapy. I am so in awe of your beautiful home, and your incredible style.

  • oh Elsie! i need your red plaid overnight bag… it’s beautiful! 🙂

i’ve got way to many current projects, my first semester of photography school came to an end today, so i’m throwing all my energy towards getting settled in my new home. my fiance and i just moved to a new house a month ago and on a whim decided that it would be fun to invite our family to a christmas/housewarming party and have a surprise wedding. the wedding is on tuesday, so there’s just a week left for planning and all the diy’s. we wanted it to be very personal and since we have a budget of $100 to spend on it we’re making everything ourselves, and with the wedding being a surprise to everyone i can’t ask for any help, not even from my mom, lol… and as if that wasn’t enough for me to do, i blindly leaped into refashioning an older wedding dress into my own.

thanks for sharing all the sneaks into your home 🙂 i love seeing all your little touches everywhere… loves 🙂

  • Love those curtains! I’ve had extra fabric from my curtains to upholsterer a bed frame for a while. Now I just need to get around to doing it!

  • These are such fun pictures and you have inspired me to pull a set together of my own home pictures. They are hitting Songbird very soon!

  • You really get what you pay for with the Rosetta stone language courses. If you’re looking for other benefits, consider that fact that you don’t have to commute to college in order to learn a foreign language. Rosetta stone’s lack of compatibility with PDA’s is not a very serious drawback, especially if you don’t want to drive or walk to school anyway. If you intend to study a language entirely at home, then Rosetta stone is the best alternative to sitting in a class room. Another benefit of utilizing this powerful language learning tool is in preparation for a college course. You can use the software to learn the language and then fly through your college course, get a letter A grade, and apply the credits toward a degree or certificate.
