There is no denying that tropical drinks are pure fun. There is a time and place for them, where no other drink can compare. Beachy vacations, poolside cocktails, restaurants with weird/confusing menus and, of course, bad days in the middle of winter when you need a dose of summertime—in liquid form. Pomegranate Rum Punch, serves one
2 ounces white rum
2 dashes Elumakule bitters
Juice of half a lime
4 mint leaves, broken
2 ounces pomegranate juice
1/2 tablespoon cream of coconut
PS. I made this recipe (and a few others!) in collaboration with West Elm. They're going to become recipe cards you can pick up in the stores for free soon! Products featured: Bar Cart, Titanium Knives, Kitchen Towels, Copper Bar Tools, Glassware.

Looks delicious!! I second what Elizabeth said – I Would LOVE to know where that Mason Jar shaker comes from!!
I just started a waitressing job that will transition into bartending here in Springfield, so I’ve been studying all of your cocktail posts to learn learn learn about alcohol and all the fancy tools and glassware. I must have that shaker to start making cocktails at home!
Looks DELISH! Where do you find cream of coconut? Is it something widely available in grocery stores and if so what section? Thanks!

Hey Elizabeth! It was a gift, so I’m not sure. I’ve seen them at places like Etsy, Pottery Barn & I think West Elm has something similar. It’s my favorite shaker because it does not leak at all! 🙂

That’s awesome! Where are you working? We’ll probably see you around sometime. 😀

Hey Krystal,
Yes- you can find it in the alcohol section of most grocery stores (near the mixes, grenadine etc!)

Thanks for all these drink recipes! Love them!
This is right up my alley! I’m going to have to show this recipe to my bartender roommate and have her make it for me. (The drinks just taste better when she makes them.)

Delish, I can’t wait to try this. We live in Hawaii, so we are always looking for fruitful fun drinks without the cost of the tourist part of town. Our favorite bar is our own lanai:)
Looks great, sunshine in a glass certainly is needed, this time of year.
I love the straws, where did you find them? Also where did the shaker top for the mason jar come from? Great post!
This looks so divine!
Those glasses are supercool, but I am not sure West elm ships to Italy…sob
