I have to admit, every time I see someone wearing a Red Velvet piece it makes my day! I love seeing how different people style the pieces. It's so much fun. I loved this outfit that Veronika of Tick Tock Vintage put together. (Note: These clutches will be back in stock soon for the Holidays. They've been selling like hot cakes!) Here are a few more recent favorites…
Last night I spied Darren King, of the band MUTEMATH, wearing a Red Velvet tie on the Jay Leno Show! He helped me create this tie design because he chose the colors for it. How cool is that? Pretty swell.
Here is Darren's lovely wife, Stacy King, wearing a dress from our Autumn line. She also modeled for our Spring collection. We wouldn't mind if she was the always a model for Red Velvet because we love her so so much!
And speaking of floral, here is Katie of Skunkboy sporting the same dress. This was our first dress to sell out this season. I didn't even get to keep one (tears!). Love that pattern and I love Katie's red tights!
A little more love from the beautiful Eisley girls… Sherri looks so adorable in the First Date Dress. It's like it was made for her. We adore her fun offbeat styling.
Here's my sweetheart pal and RV model Haley sporting the Geometry Class Dress. We loved designing this pattern! Did you know we're now offering a camera strap in this very pattern?
This past season was so special! This year of designing clothing has been absolutely incredible! I've enjoyed every minute and learned so much. We're looking forward to revealing our plans for 2012 in the near future. I can't believe we're already half way finished with the Spring line!
Do you have a cute photo of yourself wearing Red Velvet? Link it in the comments… I'd LOVE to see it! xo. elsie

Hi Elsie,
I have a quick favour to ask of you. I have been reading your blog for over a year now and I was wanting to let you know that I have begun a little blog. It is for my upcoming trip to Kenya. Me and 3 other girls from my university, (University of Victoria, B.C. Canada) are going to a small town in Kenya in April to do our first teaching practicum. So I’m hoping to possibly get some followers so that my blog can grow, and we can get the word out. Anyways, please check it out, it’s really new, but we will be posting a lot over the next 5 months.

Red velvet is something that always looks elegant, matches most outfits and will never be out of fashion. It is an important part of my style, especially since red is my favorite color.
