Jenny Lewis is my favorite! I really like a lot of these songs, and some I’ve never heard, I can’t wait to take some time to give this a good listen!
Fun stuff! I love hearing Hank Williams…reminds me of my dad! I love listening to The Unforgettable Fire album by U2- it’s classic fall listening, start to finish.
I have to say.. this is an excellent playlist. I added some songs to my Fall playlist, “Pumpkins and Flannel,” (ah pumpkins…). Michael Kiwanuka, Seryn, and solo piano by Chilly Gonzales (feist) make frequent appearances on my playlist. Thanks for sharing!

Cold War by the morning benders is awesome! I’m still a little heart broken that they’re now POP ETC and a completely different genre, but they’re still great. You guys should check out their cover of Crying! (I noticed Roy Orbison’s Crying is on the playlist :).)
I love the song Laura but I’m abit biased.
Hehe.
The new Rudimentals song ‘Not giving in’ is on high rotation in my head at the moment 🙂

Hi! This question is actually kind of unrelated to the playlist (which is awesome!) – but how do you keep your minnetonkas so clean?! I got the yellow one’s about a month or two ago (eek! so adorable! so fall-y!) and they’ve already got blue on the top that’s rubbed off from my jeans and are getting pretty dingy from walking around. Do you spray protector on them or get them cleaned regularly? Do you have any tips on how to keep them looking so fresh and so clean?! Thanks in advance!
Also: Elsie – I love love love your new couch/loveseat! I can’t wait to move in w/ my boyfriend after my lease is up and start decorating our space! 🙂 Reading your (and Emma’s!) house/decorating journey has been so inspirational! I love your emphasis on decorating slowly and w/ purpose. Words of wisdom, for sure. 🙂 Hope you ladies all have a lovely day!

For this season, its been paranormal podcasts mostly because I’m in a spooky set of mind. but as far as music goes, the new album by Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra’s Theater is Evil. I don’t know why, it has this wonderful fall 80’s feel to it.
I want to see this list so bad! For some reaon there isn’t a lick on the mobile version and that’s all I have. Do you have a writted list so I can add the songs to my ipod?

Ok. I just fell in love with that Cindy Woolf song. It has made it’s way on to my fall mix…. I had to take off Amanda Palmer’s “Lost” to fit it, but that’s ok I have listened to Theatre is Evil so much over the past 2 months 🙂

I just listened to your playlist while I did the dishes and we all listened to it while eating dinner too. Thanks. There were a couple songs I never heard before, but the older classics I have, and I loved them. Great job.

I absolutely love It’s Time by Imagine Dragons, but the acoustic version always the acoustic version, I love how the singer seems to mean what he is saying. *swoon*
