Red Velvet Package for Sucré

Sucre vinylHi there. For the past two years my husband, Jeremy, has been working with Stacy and Darren King on a beautiful album called A Minor Bird. While they were recording (Jeremy's studio is above Red Velvet's local shop) Darren asked me if I'd be interested in creating a "Limited Edition Red Velvet Package" when the album was released. Of course I jumped at the chance and have had a wonderful time collaborating with some very talented people! I probably already mentioned this, but I took all the photos for the album and I am so excited about how this photo looks as a vinyl! Magical…

Kate gabrielle sucre posterAnd I'm just so giddy about this… the lovely Kate Gabrielle illustrated a paper doll poster of Stacy with all the vintage dresses that she's worn in our photo shoots (and a few for the upcoming tour too!)

  • By the way, seeing all your beautiful photos of Stacy makes me feel better about my upcoming haircut. With two little ones, I’m having SUCH a hard time maintaining my length, but I didn’t want to cut it short and be so practical and like every other mom I know. But Stacy styles her short hair so beautifully. I think I can use her inspiration and go short without looking TOO much like a practical mom. 🙂

    I really hope that the trio comes down to Dallas. I remember Jeremy (at the Mutemath show) saying something about touring after Mutemath and Eisley were done. Can’t wait!!

  • Q: So cool!! Is this package (or parts of it) gonna be available at the shop as well?
    A: Nope! This is just for them. 🙂 If we have extra posters (after the April tour) i might put some in our local shop and probably some vinyl… but nothing in our online shop. 🙂

  • LOVE THIS! Thanks so much for sharing. I’m in the process of finishing my first full length album and My head has been swimming around in so many crazy ideas for packaging and ideas. sometimes I think I’m crazy and that no one would care. But you have shown me that people DO care and some people would really appreciate handmade swag to go with the music. So, THANK YOU!

    That looks like an AWESOME package, as a huge music fan and unfortunately, a massive collector *cough* hoarder *cough* I wholeheartedly approve. I love cool stuff like that where the people concerned have obviously made a huge effort. So fun!

  • Beautiful stuff – the whole branding you’ve got going for her and marketing is just all around gorgeous, I definitely bought her single on ITunes (and not just because you guys told me too, hehe) It’s quickly becoming a favourite.

  • When I downloaded the Sucre album, I had my oldest daughter, Donni (17 years) have a listen. She was 1 minute into “Hiding Out” and she immediately downloaded the album. She is on a separate iTunes account so bonus for Sucre! Her favorite song is “Chemical Reaction” and she has introduced the band to her friends at school.

    It is a wonderful album. Every single is really really good. Thanks.

Has that guy ever done an interview before (or written an article)? Wow. Bad stuff. No dig against you just the interviewer someone should take away that guy’s tape recorder and keyboard.   • I believe that rsiacm is often falsely alleged. When there is an conflict between two people with the same race, it would be just an ordinary conflict, but if the conflict arose between two people with different races, then one of them would easily be accused of rsiacm. It is a good weapon that can be used to win over a conflicting situation I believe that rsiacm is abused by some people in many cases.

  • Yeah good work to all! Fran is not an easy one! From January I was at 8:47 RX to 4:54 in May when I did it randomly (faster by 3:53). And now at 4:25 (:29 fsaetr). First time I did the 21 s unbroken along with all my pullups Goal is to get under 4 minutes by August maybe September.

  • That is not what Hogun the Grim looks like! He needs his moustache, his hemlet, and his costume as it appears in the comics. This guy looked like a Samurai, in dress and hair style. He was also way too slight of build, and too short. I think Karl Urban is the right one to cast as Hogun, but if you want to stay with an Asian, then get Chow Yun Fat. He is much more imposing than this little dude.

  • OH Gail, it looks like was a wonderful day! Everything was slmipy lovely!!! It just hit me at the beginning of the post how quickly time has flown by…. has it really been a year since I met you at the Goodwill shop and hop? Can April already be upon us? And to think the wedding will be in just a few short weeks? 5 weeks? How is that possible?!? Jamie is absolutely radiant! I am so excited for the both of you! Congratulations!
