Some photos from our road trip to Salvation Mountain….
i'll tell you a little bit about it…. first you should know that i am not much of a tourist. I almost never get excited about seeing famous places (not because they aren't cool, it's just not my thing) This was so beautiful and worth the trip. It was so silent when we arrived, it was almost creepy (in a beautiful way). It was so much bigger and more detailed than i had imagined….

Well, I am off to hang out with Emma for a few more days (and let's be honest…) work on some new things. Emma and I never stop working and we NEVER stop loving it! Have a great weekend, elsiecake

Hi Elsie, that’s so cool. I saw this place in a movie last week ” into the wild” and that men was in the movie!!!!! So great you’ve been there. And if you not saw that movie go check it out it is the best I think.

My kids saw the pictures and want to go to Salvation Mountain. HA! They said it was way cooler than the Grand Canyon.. They also said Leonard looks like a lot of fun:)

Awesome! I just got back from a Joshua Tree desert trip with a couple friends, and we stopped over at Salvation Mountain for our second time in the past year and a half.
We went back because we wanted to meet Leonard. Last time there, it was blazing-hot, 120-degree heat, so Leonard was nowhere to be found.
This time, we approached just before sundown, Leonard showed us around, gave us hugs, and spread his holy words, grins, and thumbs-up. What a beautiful, magical, and inspiring place.

Tez (who also produced the show) displays what seems to me a pitch-perfect Bronx accent and a powerful mixture of vulnerability and aggression which makes her a name to watch. London is over-supplied with talented young actresses, but this is one performer who deserves to be seen on a bigger stage.
