I am totally loving buttons lately! I hadn’t really used them in a while until I started getting them in the Red Velvet kits. Now I’m even making my own chipboard buttons. Fun!
i’ve been scrapping away today, at first i didn’t feel like it. So what do i do? I go through old stash and try to bring new life to them, it was a challenge but sooo fun π
I love holgas! It is really fun seeing what different things you can capture. I think they are much more fun with color film though. Another fun one is the lomo fish eye. I brought it with me to my graduation and it was so fun!
oh my miss elsie! i have a photo somewhat similar to this on my blog from a couple of days ago…except it’s of my daughter helping me pick up a bunch of spilled buttons! π
I dig Holgas in general, but the pinhole Holgas are awesomer.
The disclaimer is funny: that each are like a fingerprint and you’ll never know exactly what you’ll wind up with. I like the fact the QC is questionable and that everyone’s work is totally unique with a Holga. That is part of the fun – and for $23? You can totally take chance and see what comes out of it.
P.S. Have fun at CHA! I’m hoping to go someday – it has got to be a blast!
That is a cool camera! I cannot wait to see you at CHA in Chicago! I am so excited that I will be meeting you and seeing your new line in person! I will see you then!!
After a long break from scrapping, I’m totally working out of the box lately. Not that I’d suggest a long break for me again anytime soon, ‘cos I’ve been SUPER cranky!
Just wanted to let you know you are such an enabler! I stumbled upon your blog after seeing it on a message board at 2peas and in the last week I have spent way too much on stuff. The music you keep suggesting is totally awesome (I have got Ingrid and Jason on the brain) and I have had to order both. That coupled with my stalking of the hobby lobby stores in the area for your Riley line of goodies has made my hubby put me on restriction from your blog π
my husband rocks the holga. They are pretty cheap to buy, but the film and processing is what kills ya, although he develops all his 120 b&w at home in small tanks. If you are interested in where to buy small home developing kits (no black room needed) email me, and I can send you links! Here are my dh’s Holga shots from flickr: http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=94996741%40N00&q=holga&m=text
Picked up a Holga today — I had been wanting one and forgot about it till I saw that on your blog. Am actually heading to good ole springfield, mo this week — and will put it to use snappin’ pix around town! Thanks for the inspiration — have a wonderful time at CHA.
hey there elsie… I saw your new lines Lola and Riley I was wondering if they will be out anywhere else besides Hobby Lobby I live in PalmHarbor Fl and there isn’t a Hobby Lobby near me.

OMG…talk about enabler alert. I just went and ordered myself a Holga. I cant wait to get it and I cant wait to see what you can do with it.
My husband loves his Holga and I sometimes love the results too!
Hi Elsie just wanted to let you know I FINALLY found some of the Love Elsie line at a local scrapbooking store and I am IN LOVE! You rock!!
π You Rock!!
I really like the Love Elsie line. I am working on scrapbooks for my grandchildren (8) and the alpha stamps are great additions.
I don’t got your point. But thank you all the same.
.I so enjoyed every bit of this site and Iβve bookmarked your blog to keep up with the new topics you will post in the future.
