February’s Messy Box was the perfect cure to my winter blues! It was full of bright, happy patterns and fresh colors and distracted me from the freezing temperatures outside for a whole afternoon. Thank you, Messy Box!
I started this fun little mini album with the new Gold Stripes 4″ x 4″ Messy Book Album to document some of the sweet moments in life right now. I loved working with tiny photos and tiny cards in the 2″ x 2″ photo pocket pages and kept things kind of simple so my photos wouldn’t get too overwhelmed with embellishments. It feels good to get a great start on a new mini album.
This ‘Hello’ card is one of my favorite things from the kit. I want ten more!
I stamped the inside of my binder by cutting a triangle from a piece of foam and making a simple pattern with the mint ink. I love how tonal it is and how the pattern is subtle but makes things way more interesting.
All my kids do is eat, eat, eat these days, and they are shooting up like weeds! I thought it’d be fun to document their favorite food and favorite dessert on this page. Major pizza love over here.
I found an old film photo from a month before Brett and I were married and had to get it in this album because LOOK HOW YOUNG MY HUSBAND LOOKS! Date nights are one of my favorite things. Right up there with chocolate ice cream and pizza.
Also, lady dates! Another one of my favorite things that I need more of in my life. I should just rename this mini album the Treat Yo’Self album. Also, how cute is that pizza transparency! –Rachel

The colors in this kit are amazing! I love how fresh it looks! The triangles stamped in the mint ink is so cute! It adds a lot without being distracting.

Treat yo’self is a perfect name for this album! My goal this year was to actually scrapbook and print out the photos that I take – yeah that resolution is currently in active. But the inspiration is bubbling and I think I need to get on the ball for March.

Hello! I love this blog! Have a request for a d.i.y. post. Keep seeing denim with frayed edges for spring. I was about to take a pair of jeans to be hemmed. Occurred to me that it would be cooler to add a frayed edge. You guys do such great d.i.y.s — I’d love to see how you handled it. Thanks!
so cute and colorful! this makes me want to get back into scrapbooking <3
This idea looks awesome especially with the whole world going digital nowadays. We have a lot of photos but rarely print them anymore.
