Today I am finishing up this gigantic drive all the way from Missouri to LA. Only 9 hours to go… Yay! I'll be spending a few days with my sister and then we're off to the SF Renegade for the weekend! I'm pretty excited, Renegade is always so much fun! I'll post our booth number and directions soon so you can come visit us if you're in the area.
Thought it might be fun to share my state-by-state road trip playlist…
In Oklahoma I listened to The Flaming Lips…
In Texas it was Jenny Lewis, lots of clouds and a little bit of rain…
And in New Mexico I listened to Animal Collective and watched the sun set.
Today I'll drive through the rest of Arizona and California, talk to Jeremy on my headphones and hopefully Leigh-Ann too! I'll catch up on e-mails very soon. Thanks for being patient with me! XOXO. elsie

I was very surprised seeing your route…!!! My son is in the USA with his dad & family (we’re Dutch) and they partly will drive the same highway (from NYC to San Francisco) – I feel all connected now!!!

I love that drive! We usually go through Colorado (Because we’re headed to Las Vegas), but when we go to California we take the southern way and it’s wonderful!
I did this drive twice a year for four years when I went to college in MO. I love it. When you hit New Mexico be sure to stop at the gas station turquoise shops – some of them are AMAZING!
we’re in Arizona if you need a place to stay on your way back– would love to hear your stories about the fair!

I’m going on my first cross country drive in 2 weeks from IL to Portland and down the coast to San Fran. So excited!
