Hey, friends! Can you believe this is our 149th Sister Style post! Time flies.
We're trying to think of something fun to do for our 150th. I mean, it's kind of a big deal… right? Nah. Not really. It's just crazy how when you do a series like this it adds up over time!
Recently we were talking about how we envision our brand in 10+ years. And it's kind of fun to think about! I've heard people say before that they can't see themselves doing outfit posts when they are 40 or 50 years old. But we feel the opposite. We would LOVE to keep sharing outfits though all the decades of life. I can't imagine a time, no matter how old I am, when I don't still enjoy fashion and making things. So for the first time we realized that we could actually become blogging grannies if we wanted to! I LOVE THAT IDEA.
Elsie's wearing: Pizza Tank/LoveMeBright (It's on sale! It's actually a loose crop top, but I have it tied in the back here), Plaid skirt/Urban Outfitters, Fluffy sweater/Forever 21, Booties/TopShop, Clutch purse/Annie Williams.
Emma's wearing: Dress/F21, Hat/H&M, Necklace/Nasty Gal, Shoes/Shoe Mint (stolen from Elsie!)
Thanks for tagging along with us for (almost) 150 Sister Styles. We enjoy looking back through the archives to see how our styles have evolved and what has stayed consistent. I'm excited for the next 150! If you have to get dressed every day, you might as well enjoy it. Right? Right! xx- Elsie

Sharing outfits when your 40-50 years old would be very cool! Everyone’s style evolves so much throughout he years. I’d love to see more photos of what you wore from childhood to teen years and your young 20’s! That would be an idea for your next Sister Style post!

Ahh usually I really don’t like the type of dresses that Emma has on, but I love this on you! And I think everyone needs a pizza shirt.

Oh you guys look adorable, and I love how each one has their own essence.
It’s posts like this that make me wish I had a sister, not that I don’t adore my brother, but I would LOVE to do fun things like this!

50’s is hardly granny age, LOL. You’ll rock the looks well into those decades of course. Nice outfits today!
Great angles in the photos Elsie. Emma is gorg too (as always).
Both of you ladies have great style! I really love the pizza top so fun!
I love the idea of blogging grannies! I’m sure you guys will make super fashionable posts for years to come. π

Ah love you guys so much! I can’t wait to see what you choose for sister style #150! Can you dress up your pups too…? Too far?! My doxie Eggnog gets SO happy/excited when I show him a picture of Dolly… So any excuse for more puppy pictures! Hehe
And I agree COMPLETELY. Please continue this series as you age! Elsie, knowing that one of your biggest style inspirations is your grandma(ps. I just received my Jack and Norma glasses in the mail and I am OBSESSED!), I have NO doubt your style will always be super special! Emma’s too π
I have to ask: who loves pizza MOST out of Laura, Elsie & Emma?! Because you ALL talk about (and wear) it so much π hehe

Love it! That black dress is awesome! And I love Elsie’s outfit!
I love your style. So cute – but edgy at the same time. <3 Street style.
I love the dress that Emma is wearing, it’s so lovely.
I’m a very fashionable 50-something. I know many women in their 50s and 60s who aren’t stodgy old ladies. Growing older doesn’t mean you turn into a frump. Never stop the Sister Style posts. We need fashion bloggers who, like fine wine, grow better with age!
Nailed the urban chic!

I think you should do a Sister Style – with husbands π
You ladies are babes. Never stop with the outfit posts.
I completely see myself doing style post through my 40’s and beyond (I’m in my late 30’s). Style evolves and just as our shop tag line reads, fashion is to mix, play, & have fun with; age should not stop you! You may enjoy the following blog which inspires me so: http://advancedstyle.blogspot.com
